    Uh-oh...

Surely he should receive a ban equal to or larger than the one Suarez got?

The FA are clearly trying to slip it in while the opening ceremony takes the headlines.

    and why's that?

    This. Spineless ****s.

They had something to fall back on due to the verdict of the court case, now Chelsea will want valid answers and so will our fans.

Think without your Chelsea hat on, the Suarez case was very debatable... there is, in this instance, clear evidence, and no, Terry's language didn't mean something else in Uruguay...

I was under the impression (due to the court cases verdict) that charging Terry means Anton also has to go down with him? FA = joke.

I would have to ask you to think without your Liverpool hat on, Terry was found NOT GUILTY in a court of law with a plausible excuse for uttering the words he is accused of.

What clear evidence? And what does this have to do with Uruguay? Every time a Liverpool fan tries to compare this to the Evra-Suarez incident they make a mockery of themselves.

The FA have to tread carefully. If they charge Terry for using racist language then they are going against a court of law therefore making them look even more ridiculous than the already are, and if they charge him for bringing the game into disrepute then Anton will have to be banned as well because I don't think Terry's outburst was unprovoaked. FA are digging themselves a hole...

If Anton is also charged then so be it, it just makes it look petty. But to charge JT only is ****ing ludicrous.

The Uruguay reference was tongue in cheek <doh>

    ... Video evidence.

Also, there is a misconception that being found not guilty is the same thing as being truly innocent. It's not, and if you don't know the difference, well...

True. Rio should probably be fined for bringing the game into disrepute or some symbolic charge for those tweets, also.

If he gets 8 games, it looks like he'll be back just in time for a trip to WHL. Should be cracking :D

A court of law judges on if Racist language was used with intent which couldnt be properly proved.
FA charge if the language has been used at all.

Where is the evidence that Anton said that?
