Why? What kind of agenda could they have? There for the supporters! What would BIG have to gain by lying to the supporters and dont forget the OS had a statement saying we are undergoing DD. So is everyone connected to the club lying?
I don't understand what LUST is actually doing. They seem keen to take the credit for anything takeover related but have shown no proof. They claim to have introduced the new owners, but did not even know where they were from. For me Leeds fans needed honesty not fairy tales.
LUST know who the owners are BIG spoke to them yesterday. The point about honesty Is what LUST has called for. Every Leeds fan got pissed off with there relationship with Bates and LUST are trying hard to establish communication between club and fans. LUST are now calling for a statement from either party for the fans so we can all know what exactlly is going on rather than clutching at straws or getting sucked into rumours
For someone pontificating about showing proof, how about you show some proof for that totally untrue statement? All they claim is to have spoken to more than one party about taking over Leeds. Reading between the lines, it appears they made contact with this Bahraini group after they'd made their bid and didn't know them beforehand. But they did consequently find out who they are and are optimistic about chances of dialogue. Stop spinning fairy tales then.
LUST have filed everything they know with a 3rd party. so after it all ends we will found out how much they really knew

Maybe I have just got too cynical, ironically I used to get pulled up for being optimistic now I get it for being pessimistic.... (Go figure) Conspiracies: I keep an open mind as I would not put anything past Bates co...! If I found out Bates/Murrin were behind a fake Sheikh, I would not be surprised...? If I discovered that Ken Bates was behind funding LUST just to undermine LUSC again I would not be shocked...? Heck, why wouldn't Bates co approach LUST with yet another off shore company to move ownership...? Hell, if it turned out Ken was just a puppet for some shady characters who were using this takeover to install another puppet I could believe it. I'm sure these are all way off the mark, but given the last 10 years I refuse to accept anything until its proven, including LUST. But I will shake Gary's hand if it turns out to be true, hell if it genuinely gets rid of bates I might even buy him a pint or two...
I dont think theres any truth in the latest rumour. Below is a few questions that BIG has answered. FAN Did you know it was a bank, the whole time? Did you know their intentions were to carry on what Bates is doing? BIG what a stupid question, how do you know thats there intention, how do you know its even them? FAN so BiG would you suggest we be very careful what we believe with regards to this info? Mate Gary is a fan just like me & you & only wants whats best for the club and does all of this without a wage whilst having a job and a family to think about. The guy truly has the clubs best intentions at heart and would have no reason but to be anything other than transpararent with us fellow fans. Theres obvious things they may not be able to share at this time but believe me the guy is constantly bombared from all angles with questions from concerned fans that he just cant answer, hence the LUST statement asking for an update. Its not there place to say, although BIG has confirmed that he was in contacts with the potential/new owners yesterday and he seems if you look at the question and answers I have just posted above seems to suggest that the latest rumour is bollocks
