Well i think that booing a certain player(who scored as well) was far worse than the Welsh players not singing what really is the ingerlish national anthem ,seems small pot8o`s after that really ...............

If ramsey is a better player, why isn't he playing?

You honestly think you have better judgement than a football coach? Don't think so.

    pretty nonsensical argument there jump.

we might as well stop this forum because theres no point in us amateurs debating and questioning when the coach knows far more than us.

i'd say ramsey had more of an impact in his cameo than allen had in his entire 2 Gb appearances. yes allen may have made 10000 passes and had 99% accuracy but players who are brave and look forwards to play a ball rather than backwards deserve more credit.

Ramsey certainly has more potential. Allen seems a good player, yet incredibly lightweight. I fear a big price tag move to Liverpool could end up as Henderson-esque. He's not worth 15m in my opinion.

Thing that bothers me is that I am apparently narrow minded for giving an opinion on a player that has already captained his country, played champions league football, had a big money move to a top 4 club and come back from a career threatening leg break to play in all the above once again at admittedly not quite the same level of standard so far as before but still has time on his side. Yet he (The Jack) has made a very narrow minded decision about me based on one comment LOL!!

Ramsey is the better player. My only criticism is that he tries to play the'killer' pass every time he has the ball. Sometimes the simple pass is the best one.

I think you got that wrong SWANSMAN, many of the BLUEBIRDS say that they are different types of players so you can't compare like with like.

Two fantastic players in their own differing way, and both benefiting from club cultures that insist on the passing game. I think Rambo edges it in terms of stature but Allen is probably the more consistent. Both fantastic prospects for their clubs and country.

Well I happen to think that Sinclair is better than Rose, but since Rose started ahead of him the other day I must be wrong.

At this point in time, I'd say Allen is slightly better but Ramsey will be better and has more potential. I think Ramsey, on form, is better but has obviously had injuries etc to contend with.

Swamp, that statement is incorrect, simply becaue they are two different players. Rambo is an attacking midfielder, while Joe is a defensive midfielder. It really is like comparing a CB with a RB.

Totally agree with JJA. They are different types of player so comparison is unfair. Yes, Rambo had a greater positive influence last night because that is the way the game went. However, even Rambo was not perfect and lost the ball on a number of occasions. Because Allen had a more defensive role clearing up in front of the back four his contribution was less noticeable but still effective.

I think Joe Allen is possibly the most over rated player in the country at the moment.

    Ramsey is completely different class.

If Rodgers signs him then hes not going to be at Liverpool long.
