Good wake up call for those of you lauding this guy, he once again shows he's quite rubbish when up against class competition, both goals were down to his terrible none existent covering in the right back position, especially for the 2nd goal, where in the hell was he? Let's not hear the excuse of oh it's preseason, preseason has nothing to do with a right back's positional awareness of his own bloody position. The fact that this guy is Arsenal's second choice in right back is quite frightening, imagine having to rely on him if we face Barca, Madrid, Manunited etc.
That's even more frightening, why can't we just go out and buy a proper RB number 2, and let these youngsters grow and mature into their position rather than feeding them to the lions when it's so obvious to anyone with eyes, that they're not ready for the first team.
he was to blame along with the whole arsenal defensive setup our full backs our always both caught out of possession at the same time and we play a high line. Ridiculous!!! We haven't learnt a thing in the last few seasons and it seems Bould isn't going to make a difference.
I see someone is back to their hobby of slagging off players. You do realize this is preseason right? He'll improve, but knowing you lot, you'll give him the Ramsey treatment.
Typical from buffoons like you who can't respond to the actual points that are being raised, only excuses, oh it's only preseason, that's all you're good for, excuse after excuse. Maybe you missed the part in which I said positional awareness has nothing to do with preseason, that's a basic you need to have with or without preseason. But to a ****** like yourself, these basic facts are unknown to you. I'll make you a bet now that Jenkinson will also display weakness during the OFFICIAL SEASON, yet being the ****** that you are, you will still make your excuses, you're hopeless case you, something you displayed time and time again last season in your pathetic attempts at arguing, always losing, many times failed to address the actual points. Be gone now, don't waste anyone's time.
And just to further show why you're hopeless, let me copy what I said: let these youngsters grow and mature into their position rather than feeding them to the lions when it's so obvious to anyone with eyes, that they're not ready for the first team. You see that, Mr. idiot? I agree, they can improve, but as I said, let them improve and mature, rather than throwing them straight in when they are clearly not ready, and that sure doesn't help them at all. An example would be that 8-2 disaster, that's what happens when you throw youngsters in that are not ready, and they sure as hell learned nothing from that, but only had their confidence shattered. But see, you're f--king hopeless, you spout nonsense not realising the other party you're trying to respond to, has already addressed your point, and that you're not really making an argument. None of this is surprising, you're not a proper fan, you're just a blinker boy who talks too much sh!t. Let the real fans do the actual football talk, you can go blow the horn during the game, it's all you're good for.
He abused me first with his condescending tone, I am taking no sh!t from any blinker brigade fans this season. The blinker boys are the ones who need to show respect this year, if they disagree, fine, give a proper reply rather than saying this sh!t: I see someone is back to their hobby of slagging off players. You do realize this is preseason right? He'll improve, but knowing you lot, you'll give him the Ramsey treatment. That's not a proper discussion but the typical blinker tactic of always trying to divert away from the issue and try to say ohhhh it's moaning fans bla bla bla, f--k that, i'm not playing that game this season. Any time we the REAL FANS come with proper critiques, these blinker boys try to put us down without addressing the actual critique we put forward, just saying oh you're back to slagging the players bla bla bla.
He was a bit unlucky for the 1st goal, he did make an effort to get back and track the winger/ full back and if it had been a second longer he would have got a tackle in and for the second goal that could have been given offside in a normal premier league game (think it was level anyway), Arsenal were the better side throughout but were not clinical enough and City parked the bus (especially the 2nd half) and hit you on the break, decent game for the neutral though.
I didn't watch the game, but would having Koscielny, instead of Bartley, covering him on that side have been helpful? Was he left on his own or was it playing mistakes he made? Where was Walcott? Even though I think we need another full-back, I hate these hatchet jobs on individual players, so my instinct is to defend the lad. It is a team game.
He talked in a condescending way without giving a proper critique of my points, that's an insult, the typical blinker brigade way of dealing with everything, well not on my watch, i'm not taking no sh!t from any of them anymore. When person A makes a legit argument and person B just tries to put person A down as the rebuttal, that's an insult, and that's what the blinker boys ALWAYS do on this forum, they did it throughout all of last season, and ended with the eggs on their faces, now they want to start again.
For the first goal, he went forward, and gave the ball away. So there was no cover in the right back, and he had to run back and try to make up, he failed, and it led to the goal. For the second goal, he wasn't even in position, the right back was all open and it was Walcott who had to run back there to try and cover but by then it was too late, and the City player had enough time to get the ball into the box, and goal 2. Both happened in the space of a few minutes, both from Jenkinson's side.
There's no need to go in circles, just the main point, I am taking ZERO, and I mean ZERO condescending talk from any blinker boys this season, they want to talk like that, then they need to be ready for the boot in their asses. `
