Miquel looks a real talent, it would be wise to hold on to him.

 

Yet another long range shot from one of our players. This time it's Gibbs.

 

Eisfeld replaces Song.

 

We have played really well in this second half. Eastmond goes close this time.

 

It's ****ing ridiculous trying to play football in those conditions

 

same old story really. Looked technical and creative in midfield but soft at the back and lacking a cutting edge upfront.

Pre season is **** anyway. Last year I think we won all our games but conceded 15 goals or something. Our season was the opposite....good defensive record...didn't win much.

 

This is ridiculous now. Arshavin could go for a swim in these conditions.

City's quality in the final third made the difference.

 

No, it was our defensive ineptitude that was the difference. City didn't offer much of a threat, we gifted them the goals.

 

Yeah I know but we could have got something out of that game.

 

We really needed a striker and creative midfielder today, and some better defensive organisation

 

Main positive from that game was our willingness to shoot from outside the box. A clear change from last season.

 

Creative in attack with no cutting edge.

 

And the fact that many first team players aren't there should encourage people even more.

 

Where did Ox play today? AM? Wing?

Totally proves again what I think of Manchester City.

With Toure (YaYa that is) and Kompany they are one thing, without them they are a completely different beast. If they get injured, or lose form, City are in trouble.

I still say we need another full-back.
