Funny how "English" Joe Allen didn't sing their anthem before the game. The Welsh players in the team didn't either, strange that !

It's more the fact that the English have procured the GB national anthem, God save the Queen, for their own when they should be singing Land of Hope and Glory

Can't do that because it would have to change for all the other sports. God Save The Queen is the UK national anthem, more's the pity. I think it's a durge.

    What if.............

Allen's knee injury had turned out to be a serious one (still a chance that it could)?

So we would lose a key player and not even get our £15 million compensation.

Which is exactly why I and Mabon and Trundle, and a few others, were right all along!

Also, I suggested at the beginning of last week that our boys involved were disloyal and should be sold.
I stated we should have informed Liverpool to have the Allen money in our bank account by last Friday and then the scousers could sweat over whether their £15 million player was going to get injured and when exactly he'd be turning up to training.....
    Am I wrong?

Terror: "Am I wrong?" Yes. A pile of crap if I'm being brutally honest. Well you did ask. <laugh>

Only kidding (kind of). I do agree that Allen should have gone for the reported £12M offered but not because of disloyalty (that's daft) but because he's not consistent enough to warrant anything over £8M. And yes I know I'm very much in the minority and accept that, but how many times did we say "Joe had a poor game" last season? Quite a bit as I recall. If that makes for a £15M player then I'll eat my hat and yours.

Cisse cost Toon £10M. Sort of puts it in perspective.

But if HJ wants to hold out and Allen wants to go then good on him. Let's see what we can get - Liverpool do pay out lots of money for their players after all.

Well if that's the way you're going to look at it terrorwit ( injuries sustained away from SCFC ) , then no players should play for Wales either , might also get injured while on the club payroll

Give over you'd have all been sobbing if Allen's injury was serious.
If it would have happened for Wales we would have been gutted but accepted it.

Disloyal daft? Factual I think you'll find. They've put this one off nonsense tournament before Wales' World Cup campaign and Swansea City.

Allen is worth £15 million because it's in his contract that he is and we don't want to or need to sell.

Wales are the only home nation who are putting their senior players in harms way for the world cup qualifiers which may i add is a proper football tournament playing in this england under 23 side, the english must have been laughing their c*cks off when allen and co told them we want to be olympians, its a joke competition and these players could well get themselves injured playing for this pub team and Wales get a bad start for the world cup qualifiers. After their clubs Wales is their priority Team England should not be in their thoughts. I will be a very happy Cymro if they get knocked out in the group stages, mind you that would be par for the course for them

If your going to put restrictions on a club player playing international football for anyone , be consistent ... it's only fair
