Thanks for clarifying mate, i'd heard a rumour that the owners had fallen out of love with the club and country almost the moment after they'd bought the team, and didn't want to clear up the mess they inherited, and susequently added to.
It's a funny thing mate, the authorities here make it really difficult for immagrants, sounds crazy I know in an area with such a huge ex-pat community, but it goes on. Financially, to even buy a car here there is a mass of red tape for an ex-pat, you need to take residencia to say you are staying forever, but if you drive a UK registered car, you'll be stopped, and if you can't prove it's left Spain in the last 6 months, heavily fined. They set up roadblocks on roundabouts, an Englishman in a nice car will be stopped every time, car searched, a real load of ****. Now, Marbella, even now, revolves heavily around the property market, yet again you need residencia, and many Spanish banks will hold onto money of buyers for weeks, sometimes they will give up, the sale will be pulled, everyone misses out, a friend of mine was trying to get a deal done for a legitimate businessman from somewhere in the middle-east (can't remember the exact country), and Caja Sur Bank REFUSED his money from Lloyds TSB in the UK, who he'd used to try and avoid problems, the client was nearly in tears feeling he was being persecuted. He'd been a Lloyds client for 28 years. If you have your own business, you are CHARGED, per head, to have staff, so many staff work with no contract or basic pay, meaning the government here receives zero tax, hence the state of the economy. That said, it's a fantastic place to live once you get your head round the ****, maybe the owners of Malaga CF felt the same way as the above client, cos I'm sure despite their status, they'll have hit the same brick walls head on.
I disagree, I think we will. £15 million seems to be about Wengers limit. I also think he would be a GREAT signing.
Reports are coming in that 19 year old Australian Curtis Good is about to sign for Newcastle. The Sun and the Daily Mail are hoping that, "Curtis comes Good", "Good things happen at Newcastle", and that this will be "Good news", providing a host of other Good headlines in the future.
RE Cazorla they might have agreed the terms but put it all on hold until 31st to see if the owners will pay the debt. Hence the silence from both parties. So I think we have to wait untill 30th or 31st.
Rumours are swirling that Rennes have dropped the price of M'vila to 11.4 Million. We need to get him, now.
Nothing confirmed yet... but it seems likely to happen. I think your sources and my sources are the same here
I think it might well be, which is a shame. But I'm not too unhappy because Nuri Sahin is a great player who I hated seeing go to Real as I knew he would barely get a game. I hope there's a future transfer clause in the deal...
