I don't see how 'having money to spend' makes you the strongest team. How many goals did your 'expensive signings' score last year when comared to Holt and Morison who managed 25 between them and cost a total of just under £3M, so the cost per goal was pretty impressive - even more so when you think that Crouch cost £6M, had a vastly more experienced and costly team around him, yet only managed 8 goals was it??? I would be surprised if QPR finish above Norwich.

I'll happily start another season with Norwich written off as no-hopers by all and sundry. Getting used to it now. (Finished as a club in L1; no chance of getting out of the Champ; certs for relegation from the Prem). Bring it on!
Well of course it may not, he may well deliver all that he is promising - only time is going to tell. If they get the training ground that has been promised (but delayed by one year apparently), the new stadium (if they can find the space for it, and get the team (and stay there) in the upper echelons of the PL then fair play to him. I remain open minded as to whether or not he can/will deliver. I do perceive him to be a "media junkie" though, and of that I am not so sure about. Very happy to announce there is going to be a big announcement coming next week etc. It's like he just has to be in the spot light and pushing himself in to the media spotlight. By all accounts the Asian tour was a success with in the region of 30,000 South Koreans adopting QPR as their new team this season off the back of signing Park from Man Utd. Ok that in itself is not going to bring in a bucket of cash as I am sure the shirt sales do not bring in that much revenue directly in to the club, especially if they are being made in Asia, but I guess it may opens some doors for investment from somewhere but maybe not.
I did put a lot of effort in coming up with these predictions so hopefully it will be fairly accurate!

We are a club sustained by Britains richest man: Mittal and also Tony Fernandes who is ovperating a very successful and fast growing airline in a region of the world developing at a rapid rate backed by massive populations. (Thats forgetting ur other multi-millionaire board members and the tie that this club has to promoting Fernandes companies brands on a global scale. Norwich are funded by cook books of a mildly alcoholic middle aged women whilst also being the most overachieving club in English football over the last two years. You have now lost your manager who held it all together. Outlook looks worse for you
I think the key to next season was hanging on to Holt.An Ipswich supporting colleague describes him as "unplayable" and "a total nuisance" - which I think sums him up nicely.I expect to see him match or exceed last year's haul.It wouldn't surprise me to see him get twenty.
I disagree with the journo's assessment - with previous Premiership experience, I think Houton's a better appointment than Laudrupp, despite his credentials. All of us are going to need a good start this year - both the Swans and Canaries had it last year, whilst we were spanked by Bolton! I recon if we can get a decent defender (I'm dreaming of Samba!) then we could all 3 be looking at safe, boring mid table finishes. And after last season, I'll take that.
look at this twat for example completely happy with his boardroom. this notion that these people who own a club just give their money to that club is preposterous! qpr are not a wealthy club, they just happen to be owned by wealthy people. if they walked away the club would collapse. if delia walked away we'd be fine. if you can find one norwich fan who'd rather have fernandes than delia you'll be very, very lucky indeed. this is not because of blind faith - this is cos we understand what our football club is trying to achieve and more importantly, what it is capable of achieving
Its a bit of a free for all this year. I think Reading, Southampton and West Ham could all stay up and there is no-one you look at who is much worse than anyone else. Probably be abou 6-7 teams in a scrap to stay up come the last few games, but reckon all three Norwich, Swansea and QPR will stay up, but no-one will set the league on fire
carols, it'll be similar to last year i expect. there are probably 12, 13 teams who begin the season looking over their shoulder. qpr are one of those, as are swansea and ourselves. i too think all three will survive though i fully expect this season to be tougher than last year
Quick you better get over to the Chelsea board and warn them off signing Hazard, Oscar etc. Also I think you need to go and tell the Man City fans to calm down. I mean what if the Sheikhs inexplicably walk away. How are they going to pay the six igure a week wages of Tevez, Aguero and co?! Sh*t good thing your around. No one had considered any of this before. Or you could just say your looking at it in a way that suits you. Why would Mittal and Fernandes pump in millions and then just walk away?! What if the Norwich owners walked away? You would still need cash and new backers. Are you as appealing as a London club like QPR in the richest catchment area for fans in the country. Argue either way but probably not. We all face the same risks but. For every wedge of cash Fernandes, Mittal and cash stick into the club. The less likely it is they will walk away. my club is run in a way so that no benefactor is required. this is why we don't splash out on wages we cannot afford and why we don't spend transfer fees the club can't afford. we are run sensibly and in a manner which means that if things go wrong for us on the pitch at any time, we won't suffer off the pitch. i've long had suspicions that fernandes isn't the messiah that many of you believe and i doubt i'm alone and no amount of money brings guarantees though it appears you think it does.meanwhile, chelsea and man city are massive clubs - always have been - qpr are not.
