So its started, Stevie Me thinks a top 4 finish and Champions league is there for the taking. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-skipper-Steven-Gerrard-Well-finish-four.html Discuss
They should worry more about finishing above the likes of Fulham and Everton, than finishing in the 4.
Don't you know they already are a top four side? If goalkeepers hadn't made saves against them and they hadn't hit the post a few times they'd have finished top four so they really are top four. Ask Muppet finder, or whatever his stupid ****ing name is. He'll tell you.
Yes, top 4 outside the Champions League places. How long before we hear that it'll take time to adapt to the new manager's philosophy? And for the new players to bed in... Don't worry, next year will be their year.
Does the OP actually spend any time talking about the club he professes to support? Or is what City, Chelsea and Liverpool doing more important?
Sorry District but I'm with the OP on this one. When it comes to Laugherpool there are no bounds to ridiculing them. they deserve it Not sure that the Laughterpool faithful will like him dissing KKK like that though.
That's my fave bit of Liverpool delusion at the moment. The whole "next season we won't be so unlucky and all the times we hit the post will be goals". Err, no, next season you'll go back to just clean missing the goal
Three things: 1. I think you will find that most Liverpool fans are being very realistic on where we wil finish next season and think top 4 is the pinnacle rather than the goal..... 2. Steven Gerrard is an amazing player and you do not reach those heights by being negative or even realistic......To be the best you have to be optimistic.... 3. If at the beginning of last season the toon had said they would be competing for champios league you would have all laughed at them. They didnt uite make it but certainly competed.......I think top 4 will be City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal........But Liverpool are not as bad as some people would like to make out and over 90 minutes they have no problem competing with any of these teams...Liverpool just need to embrace the consistancy that teams like United show every season.
Gerrard is a great player, but **** me he looks like a proper fan boy in the photo in that article. Daniel Craig is there, straight back and picture of dignity, whilst Stevie looks totally star struck. He looks like he can't believe Daniel Craig has agreed to have a photo taken with him!
