Apparently we have, it just hasn't been officially announced yet (according to one in the know on twitter). But, that aside, how can you vote for someone who hasn't played for WFC yet?

I don't think Almunia would sign (if he has) without being offered the number 1 shirt.

Almunia seemed to think, the other night, that he was a Watford player, and i agree with Mex, there's not much chance of him coming to the club as a #2. Meanwhile, too much responsibility for Bond or Bonham at this stage, and we could have another Loach on our hands...slowly slowly...Almunia for me..if and when!

I don't want Almunia, so I voted for Bond with Bonham as sub. But if the seemingly inevitable happens, Almunia should and would be the number one until his performances started to suggest that someone else deserves a go. And let me be clear that inside the ground I will always support whoever the Watford goalkeeper happens to be, and if he is poor then outside the ground I will always stay on the right side of the line between criticism and abuse.

What I don't understand is, having sold Loach for peanuts feeling that keeping him was in no-one's interests, why we have brought in a keeper with even more of a reputation for inconsistency? On his day Almunia is world class, but would we rather have someone like Heaton, who is a reliable Championship keeper 95% of the time, or someone who is world class half the time and unpredictable for the other half?

almunia has apparently signed, being at the cork match, bond looks like a good prospect, and with almunia pushing him for a stating place, he could improve.

Sounds like he will but we're not allowed to officially complete a signing yet.

Gone with Almuina, with Bond as sub. Expect Bond will play the league cup matches! If Almunia does go though a bad patch, I hope Zola has the courage to drop him! I hope no player is untouchable and everyone has to play well to keep their place!

I think the Borhamwood game is proof enough that Bond is not quite ready for the big time yet. Give him a few years he will be, i have no doubt. But we cannot afford mistakes.

Didn't vote as I dont want us to have any of those 6 options.

Obviously we need an experienced keeper, but I dont want Alumina, the amount of mistakes/errors he made at Arsenal was a joke, to the point where he became their 3rd choice keeper behind Chezny and Fabianski.

Id love us to get Cudicini, failing that Shawn Jalal from Bournemouth.
