So something a bit different, England B with a mix of Wales in it! Still I'll be supporting the boys ( and girls ) in blue. Er blue army!
Why is everyone making out Giggs is a saint again. Did everyone forget he got found out playing away and tried to sue 75,000 people for saying his name The bloke is a tosser
We have Newcastle to thank for that. Had Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse been playing it wouldnt be 1-0 still
Had everyone been available including England's euro players what would the team have looked like? Hart Walker Caulker Smalling/ Jones Bertrand Giggs Wilshere Gerrard Bale Rooney Welbeck
Seems like bad luck follows us regardless of what we are called. Stonewall pen followed by a break and there we go. Looks like cheaters will prosper in the Olympics then!
Hart Walker Terry Smalling Bertrand Ox Wilshire/Cleverley Gerrard Bale Rooney Welbeck also- that was an assault.
Think you have one too many overage players? Butland Walker Caulker Jones Bertrand A JOHNSON Wilshere GERRARD Allen Bale ROONEY Steele; Smalling; Taylor; Cleverley; Chamberlain; Sturridge; Welbeck I'll be supporting them along with the other British teams in the other sports. Could've done with a win tonight though - Uruguay look good.
Total load of ****. Football in the olympics ??? Still atleast the organisers are doing a top job...1st the wrong Korean flag DOH! & now calling a Welsh man English DOULBLE DOH! I did´nt even know it had all started. Anyway 1-1 was the final score...'TEAM GB' (without a jock or N. Irishman) will be an embarrassment.
I went to the game last night. As the GB players were walking into the stadium from their temp dressing room, one fan shouted 'Eh, where's David?' which made a few GB players smile. Obviously not Mr Pearce. Good atmosphere inside the stadium but Senegal found us out. GB central midfield a bit light in numbers so kept spraying it wide. Senegal then pressed tight quickly on the wide man and neutralised the attack. Ground Hog day.....
Does anyone else think it strange that none of England's U23 players from Euro 2012 (Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Carroll, Welbeck, Jones etc.) were included due to it being so close to the Euros, despite Spain having the likes of Juan Mata and Jordi Alba, in spite of the fact they finished a week and a half after us? I know Pearce said something but I can't help but feel a lack of commitment.
