This is a football forum and as you obviously don't know what it is like to follow a successful football club, no one cares about your views or that of Southampton. Southampton seem to get their kicks following Celtic stars who may at some time leave our club, but when they do it won't be to a yo-yo club like the Saints.

It appears as though you are suggesting that because Southampton got beat one nil at home in a meaningless pre season friendly to a team that beat Celtic comfortably at their home in a meaningless pre-season friendly that this is somehow indicative of the relative merits of each club. I say it appears that way, but of course there must be more to it because nobody would be that stupid. So please. Go on.
If you want to figure out who probably has the better football team then go have a look at our PLC results to see how much money we spend and compare it to how much money you spend (I've no idea how much money you spend), on average the team that spends more on wages affords better football players - or of course we could wait until the next time we see each other in Europe to find out.
Its a nothing story anyway, read this in the DR - a 2 paragraph article that had no quotes not even from one of their insiders!! there was also no name of the journo who wrote the article. I'm sure Kayal will move onto bigger & better things, but not this year and not to Southampton.
