Of course, Mr Stein had died 10+ years prior to the case but that must have slipped your memory, or maybe it was a slip of the tongue on more than 1 occassion. Well answer me this, I can understand why people would lie and say that they never heard of the allegations. That is quite clear. But why would the chairman of CBC lie? Why would the author of this book lie? Why would Brazil lie and say the directors knew?
i dont know - i cant answer that to sell books - to sensationalise a story - because he was hurt and looking for someone to blame - because he suspected they knew but was not sure? he was angry at them turning up to court with torbett? why would the subsequent chairman of the cbc lie? why would brazil say stein didnt know and contradict evidence - you will concede surely that they cant both be right wont you? why - if your wild claim that the evidence is overwhelming - would charges not be brought?

Exactly. It makes no sense as to why he would lie about such a serious issue as child abuse, unless he was trying to save his skin of course. So the fella makes up stories about Stein being made aware, a story that also ties in with Hugh Birt's story. All to sell books. Did he say he was not sure? I'm pretty sure the guy who was to blame was up in court. Who? The fella that supported Torbett throughout the courtcase? When asked if Stein knew, Brazil said that Stein wasn't the type of man that would put up with something like that. When the ex directors were asked if Stein knew they said it would have been like handling a stick of dynamite. They all seem to think he didn't know, but then could you really believe people trying to save their own reputation and that of the clubs. Charges against who. As it has been documented the directors and owners already denied they knew of these allegations despite that "liar" Hugh Birt saying differently.
