How many cars is that now who have copied the Mclaren exhaust? Bet they wish they could patent the design. But just like the EBD its all about which team have designed the whole car around this and have done the most milage using it!
Interview with Nikolas Tombazis: The most interesting bit was this: "We've got developments that will keep coming over the next few races, starting with Valencia, we are going to be doing experiments on the front wing, on the floor, we're going to be having further evolutions of the exhausts. Basically following that there will be also rear wing upgrades, turning vane upgrades, so it's something that will continue I believe until the last race" (4.23-4.49)
Interesting read, good post Forza. The Ferrari is slowly becoming a good car, clever that they're focusing on the front of the car for this race too, considering the number of low speed corners, where you want a car that doesn't have understeer issues.
From that angle it looks like it's pointing more outward. Apart from the additional cooling I can't see much different about this exhaust. I think it was Autosprint who said earlier this week that the front wing was the most important thing Ferrari were bringing to Valencia. EDIT: Found it:

Ferrari F2012 - new exhaust (on official F1 page) http://www.formula1.com/news/technical/2012/870/972.html
Marc Gene will be in the F2012 tomorrow for a straight line aerodynamic test at Idiada. That would suggest their Silverstone update is a pretty big one. EDIT: Just speculating here, but could they be testing a DDRS?
I imagine we'd hear about crash tests if they were doing DDRS, but thats assuming its a chassis change...yet more speculation
We're getting to that stage in the regulations where hideous fins and vanes start sprouting out of every surface, so pleased the regulations are being overhauled again next year.
The latest SF Racing News: Andrea Stella says the car is three seconds faster now than it was in Jerez:
Picture from Hungary, the front wing is covered. It could be the one they've been testing since Valencia, but then why would they want to hide it? We've all seen what it looks like. please log in to view this image
