I'm using sopcast, PMK, but it's always useful to have options! Borini interview was good - he seems like he's saying all the right things. Hopefully that'll translate into work rate and performances on the pitch. I can't wait for the first game he's involved in. But first things first ... game on! COYR!
Not a bad game so far by most of the Lads, you have to remember that this is Romas 5 game in pre-season. So we are doing well
Gulacsi - great shot stopper but really needs to improve his passing Jose - Awful, awful, awful. But it's pre-season so hopefully he gets it out of his system Carra - Past it McLaughlin - Very impressive debut, looks technically solid and very comfortable on the ball, maybe caught out of position once or twice but he is 17 years old Spearing - Can't keep up with the passing tempo Aquilani - Class act, showing that Rafa made a good choice as a replacement for Alonso. Bad luck it hasn't worked out. Shelvey - Great first half, showing that he deserves a look in as a first team player Sterling - Glimpses of promise, comfortable on the ball Cole - Very, very good. Showing that he might have a future at Liverpool after all despite his age. Very impressed with Cole, Aqua and Shelvey so far
Not too bad so far, boys. Few mistakes from Spearing and Carragher, but nothing too bad yet. Great play so far from Shelvey, Sterling and young right back (McCloughlin?). Enrique looks fatigued and not match fit. Joe Cole has had his usual mix of inspired play and lapses of concentration. Aquilani has been pretty anonymous, I've thought, this half. Keeper's done fairly well. Skrtel has been Okay, but we need Agger's composure in passing out from the back. Swap Agger for Carra, Spearing for Lucas and put another striker on for Eccleston (who not quite doing today) and we'd look a long better unit. Looking forward to see who's playing this half!
Enrique needs to improve his final ball, its so frustrating watching him when he gets near the oppositions box.
