Always sad to see any club go through this. And ultimately it's the fans who suffer. Players / managers / owners tend to move on (yes, some have local roots, or a genuine passion for the cluib, but their career won't end - and some don't really give a stuff which club they are at when it comes down to it). But the fans wil typically always be fans - regardless of results or league position. However, this is different to ab ad season or relegation. To watch your club go under like this must be awful. Feel for all Pompey fans.
Talked to loads of them in the pub and outside the ground and they were all a great lot. Even the residents living near the ground were coming up and talking to us and saying how much they liked us. As I say, a really good bunch and it'll be very sad to see them go.
interesting one. they have similar, yet different attributes. I've heard Remy is quicker too. I'd have to go for Cisse every time though just for the fact that he has proven himself at the Toon and Remy is very much an 'unknow quantity' on these shores.
I suppose that old drunken Obi character will be coming in soon looking for more free beer. Better get another round in.
Looks like quite a lot of chat to catch up on today, still reading through all the threads. Anything particularly worth pointing out?
