Would you sign Stephen Ireland?

an in form stephen ireland is easily worth 15-20million. BUT we don't really NEED him so i wouldn't pay over the odds for him as we have excellent cover in that area. however if he comes cheap, he's worth a punt.

in form = 7million (tops)
a s*** stephen ireland = 2.5million (tops)

 

do we need him should be the question as others have pointed out we have plenty in midfield and people seem to forget about gosling who cost us **** all spend the money in areas we need i.e. rb,lb,cb,2x strikers

Not sure if he is the right player for you, I would give a no for him, But I may be wrong, he is a good player, But at current he isn't good.

Your right there mate, you need players in other positions not midfield as that is the last place you need to add to as you could do with 3 or 4 defenders; Back up or first team, also you need 3 strikers in my eye, 2 for first team and 1 back up for the future then you could do with one young goal keeper for the future in my eyes which I would say someone like Smithies or Loach would be great.
What do you think of these 2?

 

If he plays well in these last few games then yes

 

a) it never hurts to have another senior midfielder in the club, like Ireland, seeing as Tiote, Nolan and Barton pick up yellow cards like nobodys business
b) i think just another good CB to partner Colo would be fine, then we have Willo/Saylor/Kadar as backup, no need to buy 3 or 4 defenders.
c) In terms of goalkeepers, we have Harper, Krul and Forster who are all capable aswell as Soderberg. I dont even know who Smithies or Loach are, but we dont need any more goalies.
d) 2 strikers, though, would be good, then we have Best and Ameobi as backup. Agree with you there

 

Maybe 2 Defenders, 2 Strikers and 1 Goalkeeper and maybe the one Midfielder if you say so.
I would loan out Krul and bring in Loach from Watford or Smithies from Huddlesfield mate.

 

You obviously didn't read your English books at school? If you're going to write words like "That's" properly, then please use an 'I' rather than "i", especially before criticising someone's post.

 

Forster and Harper? We don't need another keeper.
