Pre-Swansea away, Ramsey was doing a decent job for us in the middle and him plus Arteta and Song formed a solid midfield. That was still a Ramsey not at his best because his final pass was not the same but he was still part of the team and was doing a good job. After January his form dropped off a cliff and he became a liability and then got dropped soon enough.
I think poor is a bit harsh. I pulled up the numbers for the games he played in last season in another thread, and he was pretty much average. I don't think he gets enough credit for the tracking back and the defensive side of his game, or for getting himself open to receive the ball from a teammate who is under pressure. Last year he didn't win many games for us, but he didn't lose many either. A team needs a few grafters like Ramsey. Yes he needs to improve, and as Jack said, he looked like he got jaded a bit towards the back-end of the seasoon, but given his age and his leg-break I think he is doing fine.
I'm not sure which Ramsey you were watching. Anyway, he does deserve another chance, but that chance should be in the Cup games or coming off the bench.
I'm hearing from my sources that AFC are in negotiations with Real Madrid for the transfer of Nuri Sahin
Afternoon lads. You or Spurs ARE signing Santi Cazorla, I'm not one for speculation, but the story is his kid is at the English school here in Marbella, and my good pals missus looks after him. She says Santi told her a year back he wanted his kid speaking English for the move, and he has today pulled the kid from the registration list for next year saying he has 'agreed a contract with a club in North London'. Fee is to be settled. Worth knowing that Santi is an absolute diamond of a lad, him and Van Nistelrooy both turn up at the school regularly, armed with bags of kits and balls, and piss about coaching the kids, off their own backs. You'll be getting a smashing player, and a smashing , humble lad (assuming it's you and not Spurs..)
Cheers matey I remember you saying that you had an ST at Malaga. How much would the dearest ticket cost to watch Malaga play Barca or Real Madrid ?
I dunno about the dearest mate, but last season the CHEAPEST for a Cat A game was €128, or thereabouts. That is Barca, Real, Sevilla, Betis & Granada (those 3 are derbies), Atletico Madrid & Valencia! A season ticket costs €300, so as a consequence, Malaga have more season ticket holders than there average attendance, which is crackers! Often people giving away tickets for games in the old town, but never for the big games, the bizarre thing is when they play Madrid or Barca, then even the locals support the oppo! There's little bond with Malaga locally, hopefully that will change over time, us ex-pats are the passionate ones!
So obviously you can play hell of lot more.I'm forever being told Arsenal have the dearest tickets in the world
Bought from Malaga on the day prices are €30-90 standard games, €70 is the most common price for the side stands, so it CAN be pricey, if your a tourist. Like I say though, ticket swaps and sales happen all over, so if anyone ever heads over and fancies taking in a game, PM me i'll gve you a guys number for a fraction of cost.
Yeah, and my mate's dad, his sister is married to this guy, who knows a man whose boss is the son in law of another guy, well anyway, his old mate that he used to go to the pub with had a work colleague that was the uncle of a girl who owns a dog, this dog was a refuge dog, and its previous owner was married to a guy that used to be friends with a guy that was married to Santi's sister. She says that the deal is on. Make of that what you will, but do take it with a pinch of salt... Idiot.
Well done Zlatan, you win the prizes, not only for most moronic post of the week, but most annoying poster too. Why do you even bother posting, just give it up lad.
And I give a **** about your opinion why? You don't know me, yet see fit to be a bell end on a forum, you really are a credit to yourself you dickhead. Why not consider that not everyone is a gobshite and wonder why I'd bother myself posting on your board. Also consider that Marbella is quite a small community, with very limited English schools, and that a LOT of English women teach here, you prick. I couldn't care for your opinion, but have never had a problem with your lads, and as this is a potentially excellent signing, thought I'd pass on. If and when he does sign, I don't expect an apology, shove it up your arse you clem.
The local sandwich shop owner told me last February that Harry Redknapp had resigned. I was impressed, an Italian in Edinburgh can know what is going to happen 3-months before even Harry or Levy knew themselves. Now I have to say that I am impressed!
ok, now I've read this latest piece of crap, you can add me to your list. You are a prize **** Mr Zlatan.
Thanks for giving us an inside track, if you are being straight with us. We get a lot of wind-ups on here so some of us are a little sceptical. Hope we get the guy, he seems very likeable, and by all accounts we have been after him for a while.
Yeah, some random British expatriate starts telling us all how 'in the know' he is and I'm the the one doing the winding up.
