Wow, Luv, what Canadian channel made that highlights compilation? Good job I actually watched the match or I'd be left with the impression we played sh*t!
Lucas Leiva returned to action for Liverpool against Toronto at the Rogers Stadium on Saturday night and the midfielder took to Twitter after the 1-1 draw to express his delight at being back in a red shirt. The Brazilian was introduced in the 74th minute as the Reds recovered from falling a goal behind to clinch a draw with the Major League Soccer side, who took the lead through Quincy Amarikwa but were pegged back by Adam Morgan. And for Lucas, who played his first minutes since sustaining a knee injury at Stamford Bridge in November 2011, it was a joy to be back on the field as a Liverpool player. The 25-year-old thanked fans for their support when he Tweeted to over 500,000 followers after the game: Very happy to be back playing with the RED shirt. Thank you for your support again. I will keep working hard to improve and back to my best
http://www.lfctour.com/news/starlet-out-to-make-impact Jack Robinson has explained how he is aiming to use Liverpool's North America tour as a chance to put last season's injury woes behind him and stake a claim for more first-team opportunities in 2012-13. The 18-year-old missed most of last campaign after undergoing surgery on his foot and later sustaining a groin problem. However, having impressed for England at the recent European U19 Championships, Robinson is now ready to show new boss Brendan Rodgers what he's capable of. "It's great to be back playing after what happened last season," he told the Liverpool Echo. "I started off quite well and I was getting on the bench for the first team but then the injury came and that kept me out for four months. "I had to have an operation on my foot because I had a piece of bone floating around. They took that out and put me in a cast. "I got back training and was doing okay but then I hurt my groin which really set me back. "It was difficult and I hardly got to play at all last season. But now I'm back part of it under the new manager and it's just unbelievable to be part of this squad. "Growing up as a kid this is what I wanted and now I'm in it I don't want to leave it." Robinson was handed a 45-minute run out in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Toronto in Canada and is likely to figure in Wednesday's Fenway Park friendly with AS Roma. Robinson added: "The manager has explained to all of us what he wants this season. He has said that if you are good enough, you work hard and you're attitude is right then you'll get a chance. "I like the way Brendan wants us to play and he's been great to work with. He has the full-backs pushing on which is what I like to do. "There's a lot of pressing high up the field. You have to drive forward and drive back. "You have to be switched on constantly and know where you have to be at the right time. I just need to get that chance again to show the manager what I can do and then hopefully I can push on this season."

If someone provides a decent stream, then I shall be watching it tonight. Roma are a team of high quality so it should be a good test for our players. Looking forward to it!
Is it on at 11.30 pm (KO)? There's usually a sopcast on wizi, isn't there? Someone (Luv?) did a thread on how to access sops on wizi a while back if you want to search through the old threads.
Ah yes, I remember that thread. Will have to dig it up and set it all up. Cheers for reminding me about it!

to sell more? i am going to predict someone will write a pacheco article after tonight's game... I am more interested in seeing if shelvey plays deep again and what he does there as it shwos he can do a good job for us.
I'm still looking at Suso and seeing if he is translating it into the game. Against Roma we should see how Suso, Shelvey, Sterling, etc handle themselves. Also interested in who is paired with who in the squad again.
Fenway Park looks amazing. Baseball grounds are an odd shape for viewing football, though. I'm once again looking forward to seeing how the whole squad performs in BR's system. We played well last game but are still lacking that cutting edge. If I had to bet on someone scoring for us tonight, it'd be Carroll. Prediction: 3-2 (to Roma), Carroll and Pacheco scoring for us. I think it'll most likely end in a draw, but I'm going to hedge my bets in a negative manner as we have a new manager and a new system.
