    Spot on. <applause>

If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs...etc. There's an air of Corporal Jones about Norway with this one! He comes out with the same sort of comments every time we lose a game. As you say, calm the **** down.

Rev, with all due respect, I'm not being naive. When a person agrees to an agreement, I expect that person to stick with it. He's unsettling our players, and showing his true colours.

We don't know what the details of the agreement were. We don't know what Allen's contract stipulates. As fans, we don't really know anything.

BR is in charge of a football club worth hundreds of millions. He has to succeed; the reality is that he'll buy players (initially) that he trusts to do so. What did you expect? It's business, that's the reality. We talk about loyalty and so on but football is about success, money and business more and more.

It's bad now but Swansea will be there long after Joe Allen retires.

This is where I am right now. How would these people know that the release cause is at a particular value. All the other media outlets are reporting the report of a report of a report just not to look like they've missed something.

If there is nothing to this from Allen's agent's statement last week ... And let's give that more credence than this e-rag .... Then if I were Allen in the middle of the most unique and important sporting moment of my life and hearing all this swirling around I would be really pissed off at the source ... I hope it's Rogers.

As shaper quite perfectly stated if they want to spend that type of money on our Joe then so be it, we are bigger than any player and the show will go on, onwards and upwards and if joe does go then i hope it works out for him. but not against us mr Allen :)

I love the way you cant post without mentioning my name, and im si gled out by you why exactly?

It wasnt me who set up the supposed agreement! Many other jacks feel let down by this, maybe because you support Newcastle you dont feel the hurt so much??

In the OP i wished joe well, but im not the only one who thinks rodgers has shafted us, money is great but at this moment stability is better in my humble opinion.

If you have ignore then try and use it ! this is the second time in 2 days that you single me out, as ive said before you must really lay awake at night thinking about norway Jack and all the times ive been right ;)

Gutted to see Joe go - Disappointed at BR and the way he has gone about everything thought better of him than that - Pleased at the amount of cash we will get to reinvest in the squad £13.5 mill happy days!!!

Joe's great ... but Joe is not worth 13.5 million , twice the price we would have got Siggy for .... no way . On top of that , if Allen says he wants to leave , it's hard to keep him & at that price ... SOLD !!

I must admit that next season I'm intrigued how Liverpool will do. But if this is true then I can't help but consider Liverpool our main rivals.

Brenda the 'tea lady' bitch, is really showing her true colours now, she knows she can't get Liverpool playing the possession game, so she's picking off the best passers of the ball we have, watch Leon being targeted next! Sinclair looks to be gone too, Huw really needs to play hard ball here, and put feelers out to Spurs and Arsenal, but better still would love Everton to get one over pool! I never wished Rodgers anything, but crash & burn.............. <cheers>

20 million for Allen & Rodgers , plus 60 or so million for our share of Premier League money this season . 3 fantastic , cheapish signings by Laudrup .... all is lost !!

Cacker, if a team bid £60 million for our entire squad, woulkd you take it? Money isn't everything. I'd rather have Allen than £13.5 million.

No good having money in the bank Breezy, and problems on the pitch, that's a recipe for going the wrong way. I've said before, and I say it again, Britton and Allen are critical to our game, and selling either could have huge consequences, I just hope Huw knows what he is doing here, because there are not many players out there like Joe, or Leon! It's being reported now on Sky sports news, that Liverpool have triggered a clause in Allen's contract, by offering a £15 Million bid! If Joe has any brain, he'll go somewhere else, Rodgers won't be at Anfield for long........................ <ok>

There are many players like Joe and Leon, they are not playing in the UK though. Try watching La Liga.

    'Our games'.

It may just be preseason but we're already showing we can play possession football. For over 30 years the club has played 'pass and move'... it's a small transition that we seem to be making well <ok>

I think making wild predictions looks pretty stupid. Let's wait and see, shall we?

I watch La Liga, care to recommend a replacement? one thing playing pretty passing in La Liga, but a different issue in the cut and thrust of the British game! Joe I have always rated above Ramsey, and that is the view of the coach of team GB too, we don't have a need to sell, and all the stops should be pulled out to keep Joe here, if your serious about staying in the Premiership, then you want to keep your best players........... <ok>

When Athletico Bilbao played Man U last season all the "cut and thrust" was coming from the Basque side as I remember. I would guess only 50% of La Liga players would adapt to the Premiership but judging from the prices paid for our signings so far we could stand a 50% failure rate. Rangel came from a second division La Liga side as I recall and he hasn't done too badly!
