Nice touch from the #watfordfc players who are handing out some shirts at Cork. We're all for spreading the Watford word!

Garner and Mingoia seem to be 2 of Zola's favourites..maybe he sees something in them others don't?

I went out and gave the telephone line a bit of a clean up. <laugh>

I wonder if anyone will have noticed what squad numbers players were wearing as it might give us a bit of a clue as to what will be our strongest team.

@Garns14 great goal, the way the teams moving the ball around now is really encouraging and great to watch #WatfordFC

Any indications whether Cork fielded their full team with them being in the middle of their season?

Between you and me, you're right...the new team have decided he's not fit yet...we'll see him in September...ssshhhh..;)

glad you have :) Thanks Ak :)

lmao...i think a certain w_y was a little over excited! lol...he was having a calm chat with the guarda at half time though, so all is fine ;)

apparently yes...he did all the warming up, but Bond got to play both halves..which i think is a bit odd, but still..he looked good in the warm up!

    It was a great goal!

Zola was so popular at the end that loads of the Cork fans waited for him to come out to get his autograph...once he decided not to give many, they all disappeared...it feels strange to have a Manager who is popular with the opposition as well as us!

Well I do udner if Zola feels they are suited to the passing style he'll want to play rather than the stuff Dyche wanted.

    Thanks for the info all.

Good to see Garner get on the score sheet, maybe he found some studs for his boots.

A cracker from Mingoia too, maybe he can be the next one to step up, Zola's son showing dad how it's done ! ;)

Who else do we have pre season?

Anyone know why the possible friendly against Shrewsbury never materialised? I know Wycombe was dropped because of the cup tie.
