QPR man unsure of future 24/07/2012 by West London Sport Out-of-favour QPR striker Rob Hulse says he has not been told whether he will be made available for transfer before the new season starts. Hulse, whose Rangers contract has another year to run, was left out of the pre-season tour of Asia and has dropped further down the pecking order of forwards at Loftus Road. But the 32-year-old has been given no formal indication of the clubâs plans for him. He said: âObviously when youâre not included [in the Asia tour] itâs pretty clear that youâre not part of things. âBut the club have said nothing to me and Iâm just focusing on getting fit for the start of the season and seeing what happens. âTo be honest Iâve not thought too much about my future. My priority is to get a decent pre-season and then take it from there.â
Rob, if you're reading this mate....**** off, you're not needed at the club. Does this make things clearer?
tough crowd...the fella has not really done anything wrong other than not live up to our standards. Since he joined, he has had limited game time and seen better players join the club...fair enough he should be thinking about his future and looking for a new club willing to give him game time (still think he can do a job in the championship), but no doubt he is collecting a decent wage and is at one of the most exciting clubs in the country right now...would you want to leave?
plenty of footballers out there who are far better than Hulse who are hoping to get a contract with a club Hulse is going to earn good money again next season for playing a few ****e games in the reserves
Bit harsh these comments. We were pleased when he signed for us remember? He was injured and then square peg / round hole in Warnock's system. Nice bloke, unfortunate how it panned out. No need to pillory the lad. I wish him better fortune when he does move on
I remember signing Hulse on deadline day with Smith. I thought Hulse was going to be class ( and to be fair he was good at Derby before he left ) & I thought Smith would fade away, just goes to show how little I know at times
I don't think anybody could ever accuse Hulse of being class. However, I thought he was a reasonable Championship signing.
