    I quite agree <ok>

Two slices of brown bread, 5 rashers of smoked bacon, an egg (done on both sides, but with a runny centre) and a generous coating of HP sauce... <cheers>

Mayo on French Fries is acceptable. On chips, it's an aberration and the work of The Devil.

Tomato ketchup is a must with both chips and French Fries.

Unless you've already made the decision to have Mayo on your fries.

BTW, your signature, when Aluko signs you'll have another thing to thank him for since he helped create the situation where Aluko is available. Then you can change your current link for a picture of him in his City shirt or something more fitting. ;)

Edit: In answer to the original question though, my snipers are.

I miss Carters mint in vinegar on patties. Picalily with pork pie. Heinz salad spread (not to be confused with salad cream) in cheese sarnies. But mayo can only go with fries and not chips.

French fries were invented by the Belgians. They only called them French Fries because in America they were worried the thick sods there wouldn't have heard of Belgium.
Belgian chips with mayo on are far superior to anything we get served up in this country. Have them with a big bowl of mussels and an ice-cold Stella ( a proper Belgian brewed Stella not that rubbish brewed here under licence which bears no relation to it) and it is an unbeatable combination.

Absolutely spot-on CC. <applause> And you can get them anywhere - railway stations, street stands, corner shops, etc, etc.

Tomato Ketchup is a total insult to tomatoes. Now, tomatoes are my favourite food, but I really can't bare Tomato Ketchup, it is disgusting

True - those dim sim's just don't cut it.

Though you have the luxury of pie stands on most corners.

Funnily enough I went on a course with work recently to do beer tasting (couldn't believe my luck either). We were trained by some top dog from Stella Artois and one of the things he said was every year for 3 months they ship all the Stella brewed in the UK to Belgium and vice versa, so far not one person has ever noticed a difference in how it tastes.

Also Guinness tastes ****ing amazing if you coat your mouth in chocolate!!

100% this, I went to Belgium last year and bought some with mayo expecting them to be just the same as ours after I heard people raving about them, but they are definitely much better over there I wanna go back just to have some with a nice Hoegaarden to keep cool with.

    No. Just no.

    ATTENTION EVERYONE!

This man refers to tea as 'dinner' and eats 'pommes frites' with 'relish'. Please ignore him.

An excellent choice but behind its cousin, Dairy Milk, the Aero, and the Yorkie in my opinion.
