I don't miss Fish but I'm sad we won't get to see Terry finish what he started.

Serves you right for moving to France.

You should have gone to Belgium, apparently.

So did I when I lived in France.

Now I miss croque monsieur and tartiflette.

Nah, in Belgium they drench them in mayonnaise.

Mayo on chips is just wrong.

I hate people who abuse brown sauce. Its only place is in a bacon sandwich. Not in a cheese and ham sandwich or on chips. Heresy.

Go for the Brazilian BBQ, it's the meal that keeps on giving.

But avoid the refried beans, I suspect they buy Mexican refried beans and fry the ****ers again.

A horrible paste-like substance, unfit for human consumption, definitely to be avoided.

    I like Mayo with chips.

And brown sauce was invented specifically to accompany a pork pie.

    We're.

And I was talking about fries, not chips. Anyone who puts mayo on a chip wants a slap.

    You're right about the BBQ's.

If there's one thing they do good here it's meat. They also like to BBQ some wierd stuff. Chicken throats and hearts for example.

There is an important distinction to make between 'fries' and 'chips'.

'Chips' being classic British foodstuffs from the chippy.

'Fries' being American (despite the head-doing inclusion of the word 'French' - madheads - in the title) and the standard fare fast food outlets.

    Both are excellent.

For me, chips to be liberally doused in vinegar and sprinkled with salt.

Fries to be dusted heartily with chip spice.

It doesn't need to be anymore complicated than that.

    No gloop for me.
