    Babacar is one of the best strikers in the prem on my save. Nice team <ok>

    I play occasionally, but very slowly. Only up to April on the latest patch, and haven't managed to offload anyone yet :(

    Taylor/Coloccini rotate based on form, same for Appiah/Simpson. Nolan comes in for Barton or Tioté when they get banned/injured/tired. Ameobi has been a beast as a sub or stand in striker. Trying to avoid buying known wonderkids, takes the fun out of it for me.

    Tactics set on standard rigid, Lukaku target man and Babacar poacher. Currently 3rd in January and just about to sell Judas for £4.5m - happy days :D

    Stevie, try swapping Tioté and Barton around (role dependent), for me Barton out performs Tioté as a DM, and Tioté is a beast in CM.

    I've not done a game with Newcastle but I have doe on with reading (my 3rd team)
    My team was this (below) after three seasons, but I got bored and resigned and never started a new game. A few of the players you won't have heard of but are immense on FM11

    Neto
    Zaccardo-M Jorgensen-M Addison/Pearce-Bengtsson
    Defederico-Ohara-Enevoldssen/Ilie
    Lucas(from Sao paolo, best wonderkid on the game)
    Leigh Griffiths- Shane Long

    Got to 9th in the Premier League,
    I also saved a file that if i want to go bak, I can:)

    any tips on signing players? i manage to negotiate a price with the club (i.e, for Sow), but get to the contract page and it always just says the player doesn't wanna talk to me. does this on all players i've attempted to sign so far. (samba, sow, ba, lukaku). rather annoying!

    If they wont talk to you theres not a lot you can do, it just happens sometimes, sounds like you've been unlucky.

    pfft. nevermind then ha. just trying to sign a decent striker at the minute, that's my top priority really.

    I think so, never done it myself but I'm sure there's a way of doing it (4th option on Main Menu?).

    Havent got him myself but a lot of people recommending Gameiro for around 5mil and him scoring loads.

    Aye by a network game or something like that, you can only update it when both of you are on at the same time though.
