Firstly hope all the usual posters are good and well? I also see we have some new friends to play/argue with Ok so last year we had the Sharp haters (me) and then generally mostly the Guly haters mixed in with a few other random pieces of hatred towards other players. So in this forthcoming season who do you think will be the player who least pulls there weight or chucks his toys out the pram or just becomes a target of abuse randomly see ref Guly! Only a bit of fun as usual but I will start off with a certain Mr Puncheon I have a funny feeling he will start the season off flying look hungry and lean and get a couple of goals, This will soon turn into moaning, sulking and asking for a transfer come January! Please be aware this is in no means a groan at Puncheon I wish him to do well this is more of a guess at who will be our weakest link also! Cheers! Alex
People have been saying he's got a tendency to be inconsistent and get frustrated if he isn't playing well. Just reminds me of Puncheon and (how people perceive) Guly.
You have a fair point there Mr Nice! Guly can be like that at times but I think largely he is good for the team and generally gives it his all! Maybe his form dips during the winter months (not saying just wondering) being used to nicer climate's who knows??!
I think the new signings could be in danger, because we have no good memories of them. Clyne could cop some stick if he gets found out a couple of times, Gazzaniga could metamorphosise into the new Tommy Forecast. I also worry for Rodriguez. People seem to have unrealistically high expectations for him. If he doesn't get his scoring boots on from the off he could cop some flak. In fact, I worry for a lot of our players. Expectations seem to be very high, I almost get the feeling that some fans would consider finishing 17th place a bad season. With the fickle nature of football fans, quite a few could cop some stick. You might not believe this, but I have regularly heard dogs abuse being given to Kelvin Davis, Schneiderlin and even Lallana.
There are definitely people who think 17th would be a bad season, people on here too. I can already see myself having a go at people like that through the season.
I fully expect us to finish somewhere between 14th and 17th for which I would be a happy bunny! But then again the season before I was happy with mid-table and the team proved most of us wrong!
I think practically all of us would be happy to finish between 14th and 17th but I doubt Cortese would be. If we are sat below 16th position come Christmas then I imagine Adkins job will be on the line.
Oh Gawd.....is it that time of year we have to predict how we think we will do again......Oh well in for a penny.......12/13th is what I predict...so there we go...........
I'm going to say Fonte. Albert Einstein: "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
Clever bloke that Albert. May as well ask how many Saints fans are going to scream abuse at our players and the oppositions for no real reason apart from to make themselves feel a bit hard?
I hate them all because of their terrible fashion sense. Every ****ing week they're out in Southampton in this disgusting red and white pinstriped shirt, every last one of the ****ers, in public, in this disgusting matching gear.
Judging from this forum: Puncheon. Maybe Seaborne/Harding/Hammond if they play, but Guly will no doubt be turned on again probably Kelvin
