For those who can't see the game, fairly even (holds barred, pulled punches) contest throughout. Persebaya, clearly a well supported outfit, look slightly better organised and tidier than us, but we're that much stronger and becoming more dominant as the game progresses.
Out of interest, does anyone know why all our players seem to be wearing sports bras underneath their shirts?
Looks like the superior fitness and subs are telling now. Persebaya have nothing to be ashamed about, Im quite impressed by them.
Only saw last 30 minutes but Persebaya looked surprisingly decent. Could be the heat and humidity getting to our lot but was impressed.
Enjoyed watching the last 20 mins of the game on my lunch break. Thought our passing was good, but finishing poor and we almost got skinned near the end. Caught the replay of that awful Robert Green Fubar and sincerely hope that he has got this type of episode out of his system for another couple of years. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Robert Green&defid=5042680

The real work starts at Harrington when the guys get back.
Not a bad side at all, Persebaya. According to Wiki, their fans are a bit rough. Sang throughout the entire game though. Sounded like a kids' choir at times but overall well impressive. Loads of drum stuff and those infernal horns.
Been a few fatalities involving Persebaya fans. Surabaya and Jakarta can be rough which generally isn't the case with Indonesia. http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/lawa...h-in-a-week-prompts-call-for-match-ban/522279 “Based on the [police] autopsy, the victim died from lack of oxygen and not from physical contact with police officers,” said Sr. Comr.
