I didn't get to read that McMoist article yesterday, but by God is that man arrogant. I seriously think that he is finding it difficult aclimatising to the rarified air of corruption-free football. Whereas the rest ofus have been getting on with it for years, RFC and McMoist have been able to carry on almost unquestioned and unchalleneged; and when they did get called to account, you end up with decisions like the appeal several of the RFC guys made after the OF game a couple of years ago, when McMoist, Bartley & Duffus were let off. I have to agree, who exactly does he think he is to make such demands, in fact who are Rangers to make such demands? As someone may have said earlier, it's akin to a man on trial demanding of the Judge what charges he wants to face.
Stereo Typist. I support your plea to Mick and Pud that the low-life from the bottom semi-professional league should not be given special treatment and allowed to stay on SPL forums. Even though Sevco charge almost double the division average for season tickets, it should not give them special status and unless you are going to accept and include posts from Berwick and all them other places. We should not have t and gambol and trevor santos etc. I know Pud will agree with me because he always likes my posts.
SPL have stated the result of their inquiry is a Prima Face case to answer, so they cannot abandon it now. Uefa would not permit a club which has cheated to retain the trophies they cheated to gain. Afraid it had to end before it started. Case cannot be abandoned now, especially given Fat Sallys statement. You also forget that European clubs await the result of the inquiry since they also were cheated. The strength of Sallys statement is almost tantamount to admittance that there is a case to answer and admittance of guilt. Makes you wonder who else got EBTs......Remember the missing unaccounted for £10m in the EBT scheme................maybe Sally is worried about what will be revealed. BDO will aslo be medieval and forensic about their investigations. Oh what a tangled web we weave.......
BBC referring to NEW CLUB. First time I have seen that. Once the Prima Face case is announced the SPL cannot sweep this under the carpet. Uefa must be keeping a close eye on this. Imagine the reaction of Marseilles for one if a club proven to have played inelligible players was allowed to retain their trophies. Uefa cannot have a club cheating and retaining the goodies. SPL and SFA have no choice on this one. This is Greens way out and Fat Sally with him so they can blame SPL and SFA for their total extinction. Must be the fastest in history. Will that be Ibrox if trophies are stripped? Here's the thing, do you believe there is more chance of trouble (from non Rangers fans) if trophies are not taken away, or is it more likely that there will be threats and intimidation (from Gers fans) if honours are eventuall stripped? My own personal feeling will be that the SPL/SFA have neglected to carry out their responsibilities...again. I have already said Doncaster and Regan should be fired, so if they sweep this affair of tainted trophies under the rug then it will come as no real surprise, I will be disgusted but then I'm already disgusted so in reality it's no skin off my nose and will simply underline the fact that the authorities are not fit for purpose if they can be so easily bullied into dropping the charges.
