Good Lord BBW, that sounds like a pretty hairy time. If you are no longer writing hope you are doing something you still enjoy. Congratulations on the forthcoming event. You will need a few £3000s over the years.
though they weren't chosen, they could have been, correct? So...in fact, it should be Team UK, we just decided not to take any Irish players...!
They did?? Well that's blinkin' stupid! I did always wonder why it wasn't Team UK...now i know, it's coz the Brits are bull headed! lol
hey BBW, good to see you, and wow! Sorry to hear about the cat and the redundancy, great to hear about the promotion, the new job and the baby! Congratulations i agree with you, the new loanees are looking great, and the team seem really positive...it's all good
Morning all - been up a few hours after working all day yesterday.. Still just a few more weeks and we are off on the W_Y family jaunt and off to Cork on Tuesday! Many congrats BBW and as OFH wrote, you will need a lot of £3,000's.....
Watching ITV4, which for some reason is showing highlights of a game of us against Villa in 1983. Packed East Stand, pitch even worse than last season, fantastic long range goal by Rostron to win it at the death, and a presenter stating "Watford definitely on course for a place in Europe now". Wish I was there
Morning all from a bright & sunny West West London, scholl hols have arrived and the traffic is a little quieter... Could be a long day at The Oval and England need a couple of Boycott's in the team... Early night tonight as we are off to Cork at 04.00 tomorrow morning!
Morning all, sun blazing down already, I think it is going to be hot. A quick coffee then start on the days tasks. One of my wheelbarrows has a tyre that keeps going flat. Despite checking for punctures there seems nothing wrong with it. Why do they charge as much for a new tyre and inner tube as they do for a complete new barrow?
Góðan daginn öll. Cappuccino, coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar. Frothy cappuccinos for for al, HH, Leon and W_Y Coffees for COYH, Frenchie, Kev rob theo and vic-rijrode Strong coffee for Sandy Milky coffee for Yorkie Espresso for SuffolkHorn Strong black coffees for Bragi Norway and zen Black coffee half hot half cold and no sugar for Charlie Tea for BHD jsybarry jerzeypie Lloydinio NZ and BCFCRed Hot chocolate with marshmallows for BBW Tea with skimmed milk and no sugar for GG Caramel latte for Hornette All in a hurry, lots of bad weather and still no telephone - three weeks now. I think there are two reasons for this the first is the replacement part is lost and the second all our Polish people have gone to England to work at the Olympic Games.
Morning all another lovely day (makes a run of 2 days) Have a great time in Cork W_Y, shame you can't take you're sandals as it appears to be Scholl Hols have arrived. Thanks for the coffee Ak
oh what a beautiful morning Let's hope it stays the same for a few days...sun umbrella already up and extra chairs underneath it...
Let's get this sorted out Great Britain is England, Scotland and Wales The United Kingdom is Great Britain and Northern Ireland and The British Isles is Great Britain and Ireland. Great Britain is so named to distinguish it from Brittany (Grande Bretagne and Bretagne). I remember when Stewart Scullion played in the Bi-Centenial Tournament in 1976 for the USA they were referred to as Team America, odd when none of the other nations in America (north or south) were represented and none of them had had 200 years of independence from the British.
With no computer at the weekend it is a long catching up. Sorry for your cat BBW but good luck with all the other things specially the baby. The academy is waiting. zen it is all England and Skótland to us. The rest is difficult to understand. Hornette thanks for the explaination of bar mitzvah and bat mitzvah. Was Saturday as bad a 1:1 result indicates and I remember even Nathan Ellington managed to score for Watford against Wealdstone one year.
..and the related islands - Anglesey, Orkneys, Hebrides, Scillys, IoW etc but not the Channel Islands. However, for historical reasons anyone born here who is a "true" Jerseyman/woman (both parents and all 4 grandparents also born here) can represent any of the 4 home nations and France.
Surely that should read 'or France'. On the subject of Ireland, I see our juniors won their second Milk Cup match this afternoon - 4-0 against Co. Armagh
