Do Rangers not have a cup tie coming up against East Fife or someone? I think, giving his history of getting horsed out of competitions, he would be wise to concentrate on that rather than trying to appeal to the cave dwellers on Follow Follow.
If they get their license they might actually be able to play, if they don't (because they will not accept any punishment) then doubtless they will claim that they were barred from playing and this is yet another sanction on top of the myriad draconian sanctions they have already been hit with.
I read over the weekend he has been greeting about the "punishments" that have been dished out to Rangers - 10 point deduction, £160k fine, losing their champioins league place, getting kicked out the SPL, demoted to Division 3... I honestly used to think this man was a bit of alright, especially when he was doing Question of Sport, and the first time I started to doubt his character was during the infamous spat with Lennon last year when he apparently whispered something really nasty to provoke that reaction (even though the media hyped it up to hell). Now? He's like a spoiled child and recent months have demonstrated his petulant character and true nastiness as a person. I also read that newco are demanding the footballing authorities drop their investigation into dual contracts. They are staggering in their contempt <****ingbeeling>

yes, the demands by newco that the investigation into dual contracts be dropped is absolutely staggering. And, lets face it, the investigation has been done and dusted, the outcome is known but the authorities just cant contemplate dealing with the consequences so are desperately trying to find a way to avoid addressing the issue. Who demands an investigation into them be dropped when they know they are innocent ?
One would hope that Peter lawell is monitoring events and ensuring that the SFA/SPL do their ****ing job for once.
If it wasn't for Pete I suspect they'd already have this brushed under the carpet. He's done an excellent job so far (largely by all his dealings being done away form the media eye) and I think he will be a major influencer in the final decision. Before the end of the year they will have laid claim to 49 titles - and if so they got off lightly IMHO
I will pish myself laughing if the duel contract thing gets dropped. There will be a timplosion as all the yahoos lose yet more ****ing material.
