Think my mum wishes Mourinho was my dad!

As others have said I think Mourinho will go to City. Next Man U manager will be David Moyes.

I think what Simons said here is very true. He has jumped from club to club because he is looking for the sort of relationship he had with the Chelsea fans at Inter and R.Madrid, but he has failed to get it. Thats why he wants to come back to England.

Once he leaves R.Madrid to join the Premiership though, he doesn't really have anywhere else he can go. I cant see him going back to Italy or Spain so maybe he just wanted to win the league in those two countries before returning to England to see out his managerial career. He constantly says he wants to return.

yes he did but he had money to spend(champions league every year blah blah blah) and he was at the top club in a league akin to the spl (was more talking about him coming to the prem and managing someone like us or west ham and see how he does rather than go to money clubs like manure/****ty or chelski)

I really hope he doesn't come back. The league is only now recovering from his anti-football mania. Hopefully the fact he's a flight risk will deter clubs from going for him.

I have to disagree, and say Ian Holloway is probably the best manager in the world. He has made a Prem team out of Champinonship/league 1 standard players (no disrespect to them). He plays attacking football, and has virtually no money to spend on players.

I doubt Mourinho/Ferguson/Ancelotti etc. would do as well at Blackpool as he has.

    HOLLOWAY FOR ENGLAND!!!

But he did not have the money to compete with the big boys in Europe and yet still won the champs league!!

If I'm honest , I would love it if Man United were ****ed by Mourinho and were left sliding down the table. They've had a good run now.

That would be funny, but I would rather he replaced Bruce at Sunderland.

he did have money to compete just not mega money ala chelski/****ty/real etc. any team in the champions league get's loads of money and can attract top players,
i think you miss my point see how he does in a competitive league where more than 2 teams can win it at a club like ours/west ham/west brom/brum etc. without the financial muscle behind them would be interesting to see(never doubted his ability would love him to manage someone like us and build an empire so to speak like fergie at manure rather than just go where the cash is)

Ferguson retires, Bruce takes over at Man U and Allardyce replaces him at Sunderland. It would be worth having Allardyce back for that scenario.

No chance! They have good players, all season he has been putting his players down making his job seem harder than it is. He's milked it too much. They have good players. He's a decent manager, that's all.

Also, I hate Mourinho, the man is a joke. Think's he is better than he is, he's only good with money.

Either way, they've both done it with tonnes of money. Man United just have a hell load of debt instead.

Out of all the clubs I admire, it has to be Arsenal for the way they have relied upon youth. Whilst I hate Wenger with a passion, I must admit that he has done a great job and also turned down transfer funds (shame he cocked up the "treble").

What do people think about the Ancelotti situation?

It looks to me like Abramovic is interfering at first team level and insisting Torres plays despite Anelka and Drogba being bang in form, and it looks like Ancelotti is going to pay the price for it. It's Mourinho/Shevchenko all over again. I feel sorry for Ancelotti, he did a great job last year, winning the double in his first season, and they play great football. It sounds as if Hiddink is going to get the job, but Abramovic's record with managers isn't the best, he's quick to sack them and interferes a lot, you'd have to think carefully before taking it on.

Like others have mentioned I don't really rate Mourhino. No doubting his success but he's always had stupid amounts of money to play with. I've far more time and respect for someone doing a sterling job with next to no funds. Harry Redknapp is better imo, as is Arsene Wenger.
