I'm running on Sunday in aid of St. Cuthbert's Hospice and would love it if any of you guys could donate. There is a text service to make things easy. Some visitors may recognise me as the security officer from Sainsbury's in Durham. St. Cuthbert's Hospice were recently nominated as the stores 'Local Charity of the Year' and we, as a store, will be supporting St. Cuthbert's Hospice for the next 12 months. They do great work in our community and I'm a huge believer in community spirit and had to jump at the opportunity to help people in my area.
Erm...OK....I'm not sure why you've copied and pasted my 'about me' piece here and bolded that piece but erm.... thanks...i think?
If I text a fiver will you confirm on here? No way am I shedding a fiver with no recognition. That's just how I operate.
Thanks for your £5 donation to St Cuthberts Hospice. You can add 25% at no extra cost with Gift Aid, just click here https://giftaid.it/f/41643110
Thank you, that's very generous. If you fill out the gift aid page the donation will qualify for an extra £1.25 at no extra cost....that'd be great thanks again
haha, i'm not sure my chosen charity would be impressed but I'll ask them, see what they say and I'll let you know...
I don't think it has anything to do with the run itself being 'great'. It's more to do with the fact that the true North of England (not Manchester!) is great unlike the rest of this ****hole country that lays South of County Durham!
All the talk elsewhere lead me to check my 'Rep'. Why did Tiny Tina give me a red card (I assume it's negative) on this thread?
Frigging jogging my knees still fecked after all the five mile runs I was doing on hard surfaces earlier in the year.
Make sure you get a pair that suit your feet and your running style e.g. whether you pronate, high/low instep etc.. a good running shop will analyse your style on a treadmill and recommend the appropriate footwear. And yes I am, get Debuchy and I will be delighted
