With mark Hughes ability to reign in egos and getting players
to work hard, I think Bendtner could be a great signing!
I think mh could improve him a lot, he looked very good
at the euros and played well at Sunderland last year.
Helguson is getting on a bit now so we could do with someone else like him, plus he's young and would have
a good sell on value. If we buy him, we could out hulse, dj, Smith and bothroyd. I think he would be a great addition to the squad and bring something different to the team......

Notorious at Arsenal for being a complete and utter **** who wants it all to be about him. A decent player on his day but not worth the effect on the rest of the squad imho.

He was famously quoted as advising Wenger that if he (Bendtner) played every game then he would score many goals etc. certainly no lack of confidence! But I suspect not for MH.

Obvious we need goal-scoring front men but Bendtner ain't one I'd go for.

Understand all the comments, but a lot of the things he said we're when he was
20-21ish. I really think he's starting to grow up now and realising that he's not as
good as he thought. I think a lot of people may surprised by his attitude and I don't think he would be trouble in the dressing room at all. No other players have ever slagged him off so I don't see where that rumour came from...

Bendtner has no feet. We can't just pump the ball up to him at every opportunity, especially when there are opposition defenders who are just as good as him in the air.

We have about 10 wingers to play balls in, he's never played in a
team who are long ball merchants so how does that comment make any sense?

From an article in The Guardian about Bendtner.... 'The self-esteem of Denmark's best striker, Nicklas Bendtner, has always been off the radar. In the spring of 2010 Bendtner and Arsenal had a visit by a psychologist who, among other things, tried to measure how much self-esteem the players had. He ranked his results from one to nine. Bendtner scored 10.'

As a Dane who knows quite a bit about the tw*t that is Bend(tn)er I will be very upset if he went to QPR! He is a good player, yes, but he is so unlikable! He has matured and is better for it, but I would hate to see him at my club. He acts like a spoiled brat and has an ego the size of africa! You think Adel can be bad, you ain't seen nothing compared to Bendtner! Sorry but not for me. (what a harsh post, sorry about that just don't like the guy lol)

Tooting excess, 5 goals only? That's more than zamora and aj
put together last year!! I think a few of you on here believe
to much of what's in the papers, you all get your arguments from the sun. I don't want him because I don't like him is a pretty pathetic thing to say. Typical fan mentality. We don't know any of these people in real life, I don't think I've ever even heard Bendtner speak in all the time he's been here. Can't wait for someone on here just to talk footballing reasons and sensible argument.....

Ok then. He's a disruptive influence in the dressing room- too many sources for it to just be made up. He's not a very good centre-forward. Eight goals for Sunderland in 28 is ok but nothing special as the main striker. We'd be looking at £50k a week minimum. 22 goals in 98 for an Arsenal side you expect to be on top in most games is poor. He's not really progressed since looking like a prospect at Birmingham. There are enough egos in this squad without bringing in a guy with hugely inflated opinion of himself who is not as good as Cisse but will expect to start every week.

He said he was one of the worlds best strikers. Hes a twat, end of. He makes Taarabt look like a model pro.

"If you ask me if I am one of the best strikers in the world, I say yes’ "

Cheers Watford R, I don't mind people disagreeing with me, just prefer it when we stick to footballing reasons and value for money rather than all the other stuff. Also, one word answers of no are pointless as well, better to just say nothing imo. These forums are supposed to be about provoking discussions aren't they?

Weve seen whats happened when you ignore players personality and get them in anyway. Personality is as important as ability.

Are you telling me you are quite happy to have someone like Lee Hughes or Marlon King sign as long as they score a couple of goals?
