Its funny when other fans say this about a club thats spending money....owners cant just "pull the plug" and walk off, they either have to sell the club to another equally rich owner or carry on running the club. you say your not envious, but this says otherwise "well I hope for your sake this guy is putting the money in as cash and not as debt or you may as well take the Queens Park out of your name " Tony Fernandes is passionate about this project, so are the Mittals, who have more money than most the people in this country put together......we are 100% financially secure and will continue to grow and bring quality players and the jealous fans who wish their clubs were buying big players can carry on hoping the "plug gets pulled" People have been saying the same to Chelsea for years about the Russian, he hasnt pulled the plug and they have had some of the most successfull football in their history and if he did decide to leave, there would be a massive que of investors ready to take over, because West London is one of the most desirable place in the Britian.
Naarwich. Haaaaaaaa, haaaaaaaa! ****ing muppet club with muppet owners and muppet fans, as has been amply demonstrated by a muppet post. Cannot wait to take these ****s to the cleaners and bury their big mouthed ****y **** ****ish ill founded enthusiasm.
Yep we've had it for nearly a decade yet Roman is still here. Part of that is to do with the media (many of whom are United/Liverpool) who seemed jealous of our new found wealth and success. The same is happening with QPR at the moment. You seem to be ruffling the feathers of a few, namely West Ham, Fulham and Norwich. Unfortunately it kills people to think there are actually owners out there who love the game and want to improve it. The money QPR have come into is brilliant for the game. Otherwise we'd be losing talent like Hoilett, Faurlin, Cisse and co to foreign leagues. It's a hobby for these owners, just like it is for the average working man. It's been proven by financial experts there is no financial reward in owning a football club, if anything the reverse is true
Hope you enjoy your relegation battle this season I can tell you from experience it's a whole lot of fun
Why would TF pull the plug? He is using each of his businesses to promote the others. The money he and his consortium of backers are putting in is linked to providing returns in other areas. It has been well thought out from the beginning. The signing of Park (and maybe Ki) shows exactly what he is trying to do. It is what the Venkeys SHOULD have done at Blackburn, but for whatever reason didn't. They had similar ideas without the business nouse and money to back it up. Portsmouth suffered from being bought by someone who had quite a bit of money, but absolutely no idea what he was doing and didn't employ staff who had much of an idea either. It was sold on when it finally dawned on him, but he sold it to another mug. It could all go tits up at some point in the future, but it also could for Man City, Utd and Chelsea. Any comparison with the Rangers in the seaty league is ridiculous as, once again, the team has been owned and run by people who don't have a clue and resorted to illegal stuff to keep going. They managed to sell it on to Whyte, who was even worse and carried on the illegal stuff from before. As for stilljaroldcanary - well, you just have to laugh at his obvious lack of knowledge.
well I hope for your sake that owner of yours starts putting in some cash or you may as well be taken out of the premier league.
I wonder if the Norwich fans will start a thread on how they can't afford Ki. Their Junior Hoilett thread and how they can't afford him is now up to 17 pages.
why do these inbred freaks keep coming on our board trying to mock us? 'Tiny club'? thats why Paul Lambert left them and Holt wanted out? Worry about your own club you muppet! They really are a deluded lot of six fingered bumpkins.
I hope we get Ki, another exciting player. The only interest I have in Norwich is how many points we take off them next season. Good luck to them if their austerity approach to the Prem is what they want. Their views on how other clubs work are irrelevant.
Is he really worth £6million? We've only seen video clips of him playing a sub standard Asian league and a sub standard SPL, why are we getting excited about him, the premier league is a big step up from those two.
In MH, Mike Rigg & Phil Beard we trust. A year ago Sambe Diakite was a "wtf" so chill, enjoy and get ready for the first game.
