I am a self confessed Football Manager addict - i can't stop playing it.

How many of you guys play?

On FM10 i cant remember my full squad but in my sixth season with copenhagen i got us to the champions league final beating real madrid in the semi's 5-4 on agg and losing 2-1 to AC Milan in the final heartbreaking yet so amazing

 

I always feel somewhat left out of the Newcastle FM chats after leaving them for AC Milan. I'm such a traitor.

 

I did that once we were in the doldrums of the premier league and sporting lisbon came knocking and off i went

well he's ****e on mine anyway I let him rot in my reserves.

 

After my second season Real Madrid offered me a job with a budget of £146m, i turned it down because i wanted to win the prem with Newcastle - Worst decision ever in hindsight!

 

I did same thing on Footy Manager 2007, apart from I left for Preston :S haha. I totally fukd up and went crazy in the transfer market - it didnt work lol

 

I signed Elija from Holland in my first season (with the update so you have £20m to spend). Play him on attacking midfield, left hand side. He is amazing. He got me double figures goals last season and 20+ assists. He cost about £16m so didn't have much left but worth it. Also got Clyne for £2m who is a very good young right back. Trouble with Elija is that he has a £32m release clause and Man Utd are interested.

Play Ben Arfa as attacking midfield centre. He's got 7 goals in 4 games at the start of my second season. Give them both lots of freedom, tell them to try long shots ofter and run with ball and they're ace.

I wish Leon Best would **** off. He keeps saying "ohh i wanna stay and prove myself wahhh wahh wahh" - **** off you stupid prick, you're ****. No-one wants him though.

And I praised Ben Arfa the other day and he went ****ing mental - "I'm going to leave now before I say something I regret". I praised you, you ****ing idiot.

I commentate in my head sometimes, if I'm honest.

After a few seasons Vuckic becomes epic. I also played an earlier season which I failed in, where Toro started off okay but after a few seasons becomes epic, so in my new game I snapped him up early and played him until he was top class.

 

Kadlec and Neymar both got 40 + goals each last season for me, i won the League Cup and the Europa League!

Phil Jones from blackburn is stupidly good, got me 10 goals from centre back in my first season having him!

Left Newcastle in 2016 on mine, I saved it before leaving though, so I have a Newcastle save and a AC Milan save, am I the only one who does that?

Anyway, just went back to look at my team. It has a fair few regens in it, but you might recognise a few of the names

Brilliant. The players are all ****ing ****ers was in contract talks with Benny's agent and he kept declining them even after I met the valuation.
In the end Ben Arfa sacked his agent but after we agreed a new deal it came out that he wanted another as 'a player of my standard deserves a better bonus structure.

Haha, I'm the same sometimes if I'm really into playing it at the time. Mainly with Fifa, I do it with other games too I suppose.

 

Make him target man, put balls into target man from both wings onto head, also on corners have him stand in front of the keeper guarentee 20-25 goals a season. Worked for me.

 

Not a bad side, fair few average players though!

 

My game wouldn't let me get the update version
and he was really **** on it. I sold him to Fulham for like 800thousand The only players I've actually kept are Colo Taylor Enrique Jonas and Ben Arfa.
