Does this mean everyone's engines with be sounding different in Hungary now that its apparently ok. Maybe Ferrari should pay McLaren to say they're doing it to to guarantee a penalty for them :)

So the stewards don't accept Red Bull's excuses but won't punish them anyway because they don't understand the wording of their own rules. Money talks I guess.

I knew nothing would happen in this race, Red Bull have a team of very smart people who know how to take full advantage of grey areas in the regulations, gotta give it to them there

Pretty despicable language you're using there. I see things haven't changed for the better round here.

Seems so at least. Accusations should be more founded if you do so. Maybe its time for him to leave and make place for someone who has better knowledge.

Never will. The arrogance and smut amongst those who love the German drivers is intesifying though :)

I like how the FIA, the organisation in charge of the sport (whatever you think of it), is out-ruled by a punch of part-time paddies! Says a lot about F1. Aren't they supposed to be ex-F1 drivers and those who know the rules, not law experts which they would have to be to rely on such a verdict?

It's ludicrous that the sport has gone beyond sport, and now lies in a shrouded mist of law. Red Bull banged to rights today it would seem, but the boobs at the FIA haven't made their rules water-tight (as per)... Shocker...

Least Red Bull's advantage in this area will be destroyed after this weekend, or maybe the next one. Not the first time this year, think everyone knew the Red Bull were the best in the field at pushing the boundaries. Guess winners have to!

Just imagine if this was Perez who did this! He'd have his head cut off from the rumours alone.

I would love to see how certain member's opinions on this would of completely changed to the opposite if it was Ferrari or Mclaren who had got caught cheating and not Red Bull, despite the crime being committed being exactly the same but just by a different team.

Or Silver's reaction if it was Hamilton?

Would be the usual, 'rules are rules so DSQ etc etc etc'. Instead, all is well and two fingers up to the rest of us.

Wonder what Red Bulls' body language was like during the meeting? Must have been convincing. <laugh>

This doesn't even seem to be a grey area though, it's clearly a breach, although the regulation is faintly ridiculous given they use the teams' mappings from the previous races to determine whether they're cheating or not. Either Red Bull are getting some sort of preferential treatment or the stewards are reluctant to decide races in the stewards' office rather than on track.

So will they issue a TD after the race then? It's the least they can do now.
