He's an excellent pacey dribbler, not so sure I would call him creative yet but he's still young and that should improve with experience, I definitely wouldn't say he's that great defensively though. Sent from my mobile
Most of those caps has been sub appearances. Oscar has actually been starting games You don't get the #10 shirt for brazil without being exceptionally good
Oscar plays for the team, he is a better playmaker than Lucas. Lucas is more suited on the wings imo.
How can you possible have an argument about who's better between these players, way to early to say and i presume neither of you have seen them in action very much.
He is certainly a talent but do you really need him? I don't see where he will fit in with Young/Nani/Valencia on the wings and Kagawa/Rooney in the second striker position.
Using FM to prove a point is never going to end well, if it was completely accurate then someone like Willian would already be a world beater because he's an amazing player in FM yet he's only managed 2 caps for Brazil, both in friendlies against much poorer opposition I think.
If I remember right Mertesacker has the same pace as Koscielny in FM, both of which were faster than Song I think, surely the DB people should know those players well enough to know that Mertesacker is slower than a 3 legged turtle while the other two are actually pretty nippy? My point is FM is just a game, yes it's a simulation and they do have an enormous amount of statistics at their disposal but it's still not a great way to compare players.
