    No mate you're right
very bored with people idolising a player that has done or achieved nothing at top level......

All we can do is hope

Wish you lot would take off them glasses..

    try this..

Imagine Tarbs in a Man utd or Chelscum shirt last season...and tell me waht he did..?

    Nothing......except....

Take your tongue out of his arse and be subjective.....PLEASE

Youre blind loyalty and worship is embarrasing. Many Scouse, scummer and otherr fans gthink the same. You are the minority in the prem.
    Let him prove it !!

COL, to be fair to Queens, the only reason he feels he has to reiterate his point is because yourself and a few others just won't come to a reasonable and fair position.

I moved last night and I'm sure Queens would too if only you'd reciprocate. I saw someone yesterday compare him to Zinedine Zidane! I mean for fu*k sake! Taarabt is 23 years of age now yet has not had one single good season in the top flight yet he's being compared to the once best player in the World! If people can't see the absurdities of that then I'm sorry but the likes of Queens will continue to try and right the wrongs for as long as it takes.

I must repeat: Taarabt has NEVER played ONE SINGLE decent season in the top flight, let alone an outstanding one. Let that sink in for a moment and then think about what you're saying. Someone else posted above that he's the most skilful player in the League! Think about it again: NEVER played ONE SINGLE decent season in the top flight, let alone an outstanding one. These statements are simply ridiculous in the extreme.

You can't expect one side to do all the compromising. You must meet them in the middle.

Perhaps it is rose tinted specs but you will find a lot of fans of any club that expect their team to play a certain way ie there is an element of wanting style over substance.

Adel, for all his faults, is a crowd pleaser even if he frustrates people with a lack of end product.

How many of these better (due to consistency) players did you see do a double nutmeg (v Newcastle) for example and how many ever could or will? How many players can put a smile on your face through doing something outrageous?

Based on last season's overall form (his first full term in the Prem) he wouldn't be a title winner - that's got to be his next target - to push on and be one of the best but at the same time he was STILL the best player in England to watch last year in my humble opinion.

I can't get my head around that mate. I was hoping he would be sold in January after his latest outburst and woeful form!

I much preferred watching Helgusson and Mackie last season and that's in our own team never mind the whole Country!

I think you guys are crazy but hey, that's what makes Soccer a game of opinions!

I can play at my very average level and pass, tackle, beat a man, head the ball (just about) and I'll always run my sorry arse off but I can never do the things Adel does with a football - that's why I admire and enjoy watching him so much.

    As simple as that really.

There's your answer Queens. You know what? Don't bother mate, they won't even try to see it from your point of view. You'll compromise but they won't.

    Fu*k them.

    Nothing to compromise.
You and Queenie would rather watch Helguson and Mackie, whilst some of us prefer to watch flair players like Marsh, Bowles and Taarabt.
    Accept it and move on!!

Just as I thought. You know at one stage I thought that if the likes of Queens and I moved toward the middle, your group would too but I see now I was pissing against the wind. Dogmatic people like you will never accept that you might not be 100% right all the time. That ties in with my observation that you can't stand others disagreeing with you COL. Obviously you can't help it.

And for God's sake don't lump Taarabt in with Marsh and Bowles. You're disgracing their memory comparing them to someone that's done absolutely nothing in the game to date.

Here you go again.....highlighting a PART of someone's post and not ALL OF IT simply to be determined to win the argument. In an earlier post I agreed with you about Taarabt's failings but you choose to ignore this simply to continue your wumming!!
You're a bore and a self confessed **** stirrer who believes in very little and stands for even less.

Swords, I rarely get involved in arguments about Adel, so from a neutral point of view I'd say he has had one excellent season in the Championship, where he was indulged and his ego massaged. Fair play to Warnock who used brilliant man-management to get the best out of him and despite a few strops on the way, he won us the title.

The reward we got was him flouncing off to advertise himself to PSG and any others interested and when that fell through he was totally unfit for his debut in the PL. Warnock didn't indulge him and Barton clearly put the wind up him and it wasn't until MH brought him into the team with clear instructions to be a team player that we saw a player at last making an effort. All this helped with our late home run that eventually kept us up but, overall, it was a poor season for him. He now owes us and he'll need to show a discipline we've not seen allied to his wonderful skill to just keep his place in the team. No more ego-massaging...

Sooper.....I agree with most of that. Although Barton did more than put the wind up him ( a totally bad influence in the dressing room that twat! ). I just feel that he seems happy here now and has said as much.
I think everyone should now let this issue lie and we'll come back to it after 10 games of the new season. If Adel has been ****e I'll be the first to agree!

Show me one post where I confessed to such a thing. You're a born liar mate.

But it obviously makes you feel better to think that everyone is "winding you up" instead of simply thinking that you are wrong because you don't have to face the terrifying prospect of you not being right all the fu*king time!!

Sooper, that's a great post and you're spot on with everything.

Unfortunately mate, Reverend Dogmatic won't allow you talk such sense. He's already said "I agree with most of that". I wonder will he tell us which part he doesn't agree with?

He's also said "If Adel's been ****e I'll be the first to agree". That's a bare-faced lie too as he's never criticized him once after a game.

I'm getting fed up listening to his one-sided ranting and raving all the time. The guy clearly hasn't got a clue!

You are a lying toe-rag piece of wumming ****!!
I've forgotten more than you'll ever know about football. You keep any argument completely one-sided in order to continue the wum.
