having just listened to bolo, it's a lot better than listening to bruce. he was positive that we will still finish in the top ten, he says the squad does has the players and they are together, and unlike bruce he didn't blame it all on injuries saying we have a big enough and strong enough squad to cope. he may be slightly off about the injury thing, but he was a lot more confident about the future of safc, than the manager seems to be. hopefully he can instill some of his belief into the players.
haha maybe not, but maybe has some part to play at the club once he hangs his boot up. apparently he's some kind of judo champion, maybe some lessons to toughen one or two up, (young jordan) but it was a good interview, no doom and gloom
Yeah he has a black belt in Judo, you wouldnt mess with him if he was our manager haha I think he may move end of season because Bruce is not keen on starting him, however I feel he fully deserves a start against Brum
not since january!!! He can still play for us, but in a midfield of 5 which has and henderson and Cattermole in where the young lads can do the runnning and he can fill the gap IMO. A 4 man midfield with malbranque is suicide and i think Bruce brought him on thinking we had the game won on saturday and trying to get him to sign a new deal all because he is good around the club.
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
i get what your saying mate, but midfield is a balls up at the moment. i hate a 5 man midfield, as we put 5 men into the middle and none of them know where the goal is, this also creates another problem as it leaves gyan isolated, and as for the theory that he can play as a lone striker, thats bollocks. maybe for ghana. zenden can read the game better than most of our midfield, and as you say if bringing him on help him sign a new deal, so be it.
he cant defend though. He doesnt track runners and its horrific to watch. He only passes the ball left and when he tried to run with the ball, he got tackled in our own half and they scored from it(second goal)
COLBACK????? Well its not worth turning up then is it?? but thats what we have done for the past few weeks
watched him doing an interview, and he said that "in holland they do a crash course into managment, and it's something i'm looking into to." not saying manager of safc, but them dutch don't half produces some decent one's, and if this is the reason to his stalling contract talks, i wish him well, sure he'll make a good job of it, somewhere.
