Do sheep eat turtles hearts? Or are you going out of your way to do so? Don't wander into the water, me and my bale of turtles will bite you. And we'll get a taste for sheep blood. We'll organise ourselves and invade farms, aggressively and wipe out all of your sheep friends. Obviously the farmers will notice, we don't have forever, but an hour, an hour forty-five. we can be unnoticed, we'll send the small turtles first. Sure. Did that go how you think it would? No, it didn't. You've been outgunned and outmanned, by a turtle. If you haven't seen the film, 'The other guys' make an effort to watch it. It's class and it will make that rant make sense.
Is that the criteria you place on being allowed to have an opinion these days then? I've worked in London when I was 20 and have travelled extensively with work and pleasure all my life you dim witted pond life. However, if I had never left the confines of my own home, I would still be entitled to my opinion in a free society, or is the cyber bullying you speak of actually from you? I will call things how I see them and don't expect or actually desire to have universal agreement but if me speaking my mind upsets your delicate senses, then you ought to try CBBC instead you sanctimonious little prick.
I'm bored of this mate. 'The Mighty Cest' wins as ever due to his fantastic, articulate debating skills. Cest 1 - 0 Pond Scum. Crushing blow but I reckon I'll just go ahead and keep living my life, now if you'll excuse me a hospital orderly is going to wipe my arse while I watch postman pat. Syd and Siddall are visiting later to read me nursery rhymes.
Once upon a time a grey haired wizened old man called Syd decided its to nice a day for arguing so decided not to, and we all lived happily ever after
This is good news as I am a Wallsend lad who has supported SAFC from the age of 3, despite everybody around me being black and white. It is not an easy life following your heart when everybody disagrees with you (and as you get older, wants to do you physical harm). Before Nomoregeordies asks the question, the answer is I have no idea. All I can tell you is that despite where I was born and brought up I have not for one second had any affintiy for NUFC and have followed SAFC all of my life. For me it is not about where you were born it is what your heart tells you that matters. As for the argument about never having Mags involved with our club again, I am a bit ambivalent to be honest. We have had inept t*ssers who were childhood fans of clubs from all around the UK managing and playing for us down the years. To single out one group as being worse than all of the others is difficult. An inept t*sser who supported NUFC as a child is as much an inept t*sser as one who supported West Ham as a child!
A sunderland fan from ANYWHERE is welcome in my household mate and everyone is just not getting my point. You are right we have some absolute arseholes in charge of us over the years and plethora of **** players but then that's for us to laugh about and reminisce. My point is that as a Sunderland fan, I would be about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit if I openly declared that and managed the mags to a 5-1 crushing derby defeat. It IS different and its so not necessary. We should just stay clear of it all. Mags as mates is fine and I have many. Mags as our players and managers is a total no for me now. Can I also add that you have my absolute admiration for your choices in life, although I cant imagine your life has been one of roses and sweet dreams being a mackem in the heart of enemy territory? Lol Ignore the ones who say you don't belong mate because of where you live or were born as that's not my argument at all. You do belong here as much as any of us?
A NUFC fan involved with our team is on a hiding to nothing - the first time they mess up their heritiage will be brought up as the reason behind it. You are right though that is not just us being unreasonable, as the reverse is also true as is Celtic/Rangers, Utd/City, Spuds/Gooners etc. You have to be consistently good for a long time before that sort of thing is forgotten/forgiven. One of the most difficult things about supporting SAFC from north of the tyne was the "soccer special" from Newcastle Central Station to Seaburn in the late 70's when football hooliganism was rife. Going wasn't too bad but coming back was always a lottery - it got to the stage that the police never bothered trying to stop the carnage but would wait until about 20 minutes after the train got in when everybody had scattered to nick any stragglers. Ah, happy days
Like I said earlier mate, for about 5 or 6 years I was in the main stand seats at Roker we sat next to 4 or 5 lads form Whitley Bay who were fanatical Sunderland fans and who hated the mags more than me. They would often talk about the 'difficulties' that travelling through enemy territory brought and we all likened it to the Warriors film, bopping their way back to Whitley after games. Lol I never once thought about them as anything other than good Sunderland fans despite where they came from. They told us some canny stories about Joanne Conway (ice skater at the time who was going out with Gary Owers) as one of them went to school with her. Bit of a girl our Joanne when she was a young'n seemingly. Lol
