Good signing being a free sign Reeves and attack is sorted. I see we have Dean Morgan on trial aswell.
sorry forgot to post the link. I think strevens is a good signing but mayb a signing that could of been spent in a better area such as a left back.. IMO we have to many strikers now. Kedders, Birchall, Strevens, Miller, mayb Reeves. But on the other hand, strevens is kind of a swap for Oli. PERFECT.
That is not too many because Miller also plays on the wing so we do not need to use him upfront so if Reeves joins we will have 4 out and out strikers which is what a club needs. I have been reading and I see that Strevens plays attacking midfield, did not know that so he is a good signing because he can cover in midfield.
Not surprised, thought he would move with him, he will provide cover for the other with Spiller and Weston departing another central midfielder was needed.
I thought Allen wanted to sign quality rather than quantity, apart from Nelson the other 3 look like squad players. What was the point of Hawkes getting another season when he will be loaned out and will never play for Gills.
think strevens has been signed mainly as a striker with some league experience under his belt, birchall doesnt have much, kedders only has a year and reeves and miller (arguably) have none either so be good to have that experience up front really and cant imagine hed have cost a lot tbh
strevens will work his socks off for the cause, but his ability is lacking. he can play as a striker or on the wing but if you are expecting goals, youve signed the wrong man.... hes very similar in a way to how most of you descibed oli!
