Wasnt the team in a relegation scrap though? wouldnt be ideal having a loanee coming at the back end (no pun intended) to disrupt a team in a relegation battle

What a goal, the lad looks like he is comfortable on the ball, has bags of confidence and best of all, really enjoys his game.

 

We've got an exciting group of youngsters coming through if they all fulfil their potential.

 

Is Payne first team ready? Perhaps as a sub on the odd game.

 

I think Poleon and Byram are probably next in line to get a game for the first team, but Payne will be a good player IMO. Just watched the highlights and The Gimp looks comfortable on the ball.

No. He couldnt cut it on loan last year to some very lowly division. few years yet

 

From what I've seen of him, which admittedly isn't much, Poleon almost looks ready, and is going to be some player. Hopefully the new regime will look to keep our better players, fulfilling their potential and staying with us, instead of selling them before they reach their prime a la Howson and Clayton.
White's new contract is a good start.
