I don't think so, it was adjustment to the Premiership speed got him with late to the play and ball. It was a testament to him, how quickly he adjust to the pace of the league.

I would play this, both home and away, IF Hoilett signs:

    ---------------------Green-------------------
    Onouha--------Ferdinand---Nelson-------Fabio
    ---------------Diakite---Faurlin---------------
    Park---------------Taarabt------------Hoilett
    --------------------Cisse--------------------
Possibly, you could adjust that for away games so that you have 3 midfielders in front of the back four.

Be interesting to see if him and Taarabt can play in the same team in the Prem.

Looks good to me. Probably Derry in place of Faurlin until he's fit enough. With Faurlin missing Barton really didn't need to get himself banned like this.

We've complained in the past due to lack of depth in the squad. He may not be first choice but he's not a bad player to call upon. With that said, Buzsacky isn't a bad player to call upon but fair enough to him he wanted regular football.

Are we still after that Wolves winger? Forgot his name.

At home I would definatley play Park Hoilett and Tarbs, but away not so sure.

Home we can play a 4-2-3-1 formation but away I think a tighter midfield, and two strikers is needed to retain posession easier - as last season at times we cleared it, and gave it away immediately.

I would have Park, Faurlin & Diakite playing every game injuries permitting, then construct the midfield to combat the tactics of whoever we're playing.

Agree with that - that is the backbone of the midfield there and depending on home or away switch between a 5 man midfield or 4 imo.

No chance Hoilett doesn't start if he's fit.

    Good question from the OP.

And Harry obviously does not think so.
The chase of this player did set the alarm bells ringing at the time,
I remember Col was hearing them as well <ok>
