I did actually.......... Along with the thought .................we've got to still be here to do that though
What is your opinion of Southampton's new strip, by the way. Not for me to decide, but it seems a bit odd for Southampton to be playing in this. please log in to view this image None of it seems to match and the only stripes to be found, are in this picture, fashioned by placing the home and away shirts in rows. Almost as though the designer was making a cheeky allegory of sorts.
Have to agree with you PM, I'm more for a bit of tradition myself, although we did have a largely red shirt kit in the 80". If the stripes were slightly wider i could have handled it...but no black shorts tut tut....i like the away kit though and if i was buying a shirt then that would be the one. I doubt we will play like Liverpool as well....
Yes, well which Liverpool do you refer to? As to the kit. It's a similar situation to when we played in that ruddy awful all blue strip. I mean the shirt was ok obviously, but blue shorts and socks! A bloody travesty and that's swearing.
I prefer either of these two as the away kit please log in to view this image or please log in to view this image
I think our current away kit (the one we wore last night) is frankly amazing, but I'd like the top one as our third kit (that's my second favourite of our away kits in recent times).
It was apprently your 2010 cup final kit. Maybe they couldn't afford new ones. I found out an interesting fact just now from a certain thread... http://wighteye.wordpress.com/2011/...ames-2011-football-gibraltar-v-isle-of-wight/ Isle of Wight 3 - 2 Gibraltar
Seeing as Pieking won't reply, meowth, yes it was. Mind you, the Isle of Wight team were pretty awesome
