Not sure what's wrong with that to be honest, RTID. I always love when other teams talk us down. I'd prefer it even more if we talked ourselves down a little more! The more everyone underestimates us - the better, as far as I'm concerned. Then if/when we move up table, we can shove it in their pie-hole
We should aim to win more than ten games at home it needs to become a fortress in fact and we also need to **** over those nasty neighbours at home this year.
You are right of course, Swords. It's better to 'stick it up 'em', as Corporal Jones used to say, when they are not expecting it! They don't like it up 'em!!
Must be altogether more difficult when you have them in your face I'm sure mate. Not many Chelsea fans where I live so its easy for me to say keep calm. As Sooper so often tells me, its not until you've lived amongst them that you realize what they're like!
I don't get to many away games but Chelsea away was pretty unpleasant. Heavy police presence until you get to the tube platform and then drunk and unpleasant Chelsea fans giving it large. Flip side is that a good mate is a Chelsea fan and he kept telling me in last six weeks that we would survive by one point from his predictor. Good and bad in all I suppose.
I think it's the same wherever you live mate. I think I've mentioned on here before my Dads side are all West London so Acton, Shepherds Bush and Hanwell/Greenford way. Although most of them are Gooners they hate Chelsea far more than Spurs because they've grown up amongst Chelsea fans. Although I live in a CFC stronghold some of my mates were West Ham, Spurs and Liverpool and all hated Chelsea the most
BUMP. Dear, Oh dear, Oh dear. How horrible to be proved so dreadfully wrong. And to a Cheslea fan too! Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! Off to eat a large slice of humble pie in the corner.
Don't concede defeat yet. The fat lady has yet to sing. Two or three wins (perhaps under a new manager) and the league table will look very different.
Quite right Goldhawk. It is hard being a QPR fan at present. The elation and excitement which still occurs for most of us before every game evaporates too quickly half way though! In a good moment, I still remind myself that there a lot of points to play for.
