Whoever was on top beforehand, is going to remain there I think, until we have a dry weekend again. So I expect a Redbull/Lotus/Ferrari battle, maybe Sauber and Williams up there as well. Mclaren and Mercedes are falling fast.
I don't think Mercedes is falling as fast as McLaren in my opinion, Nico was up at the front in 2nd in practice 2 and Schumacher and him have roughly been the same in regards to speed this year. Schumacher should be up there if this is how the pecking table will remain.
Why are Mclaren falling? The others were out on track at the right time in FP2. In FP1 they were 1 & 2 and both cars looked nicely balanced. And Mclaren never usually run with low fuel on friday or turn their engines up. Lets wait and see what tommorow in FP3 brings.
I did mean relative to the other teams at the start of the season. I agree lets see what tomorrow brings.
You're hoping! Based on what? A couple of disappointing races? Let's not forget that Lewis was on for a podium in Valencia, where McLaren are not strong. That he didn't get third was down to his tyres going off and Maldo going into him. Also, I suspect that Silverstone was compromised by some extreme wet set-up and a dry race. Either way, I think reports of McLaren's decline are exaggerated. However, it seems to be true that they've been tardy with their upgrades. Anyway, we'll soon see...
He wouldn't have been on for third if two of the cars ahead of him hadn't retired, he would've been 5th behind three different constructors. Two races is enough to go on given we've only had nine so far and they were only fastest for the first two. They're nowhere near as strong as they were.
Nico Rosberg, 5 place grid drop. Romain Grosjean, 5 place grid drop. Any changed thoughts on who is going to be number 1 tomorrow? For your interest, Thursday press conference.
That's your opinion, two races is enough for you, but three races back McLaren won and that would tell a different story. I'd also add that I don't think they were ever dominant in the first place except for qualifying.
Silver, you never miss a chance to put down McLaren and especially Lewis, it's hardly a secret! So a little less moral indignation might be in order, thank you.
Shall we just say thankyou after every comment, to deter the potential argument. Hahaha come on guys lighten up.
Thankyou. Hahaa, watch the press conference, lots of juicy questions. -Webber and his talks with Ferrari, were official, you need to see the response to that one. -Mention of Lewis and his party nights... -And some fun with Nico's mic (Vettel + Schumacher banter), which seems to crack everyone up.
8th if you believed Maldonado was going to get past! Vettel Alonso Grosjean Kimi Schumacher Webber Maldonado Lewis
And I know there's about 6-7 people on here who would like to make out I'm just a Lewis/McLaren hater and somehow my opinion is lesser than other people's stupid opinions. Stop stereotyping me because it's getting very boring as I can't even mention the word L or H and not be spun that I have some sort of agenda. Half you lot are hypocrits with Schumacher yet you don't see me pissing on your opinions do you? I can always be like I was midway through 2011 and say you are all attacking Seb for no reason and yet I was proven wrong wasn't I? So maybe you lot have got the wrong end of the stick for a change?
