Gervinho Impressed Me Last Season

Got to agree with you there. As it stands Gervinho is a million miles away from Pires. If we had Pires in our team now he'd have outshone RVP in my opinion. One hell of a player.

Still, Gervinho is young and will improve, maybe he will reach that incredible level one day. Maybe.

Gervinho just doesn't have the necessary talent to succeed at our club. Absolute headless chicken.
I also agree with Gibbs not being up to scratch. Though he could improve. Song is also a complete liability imo.

Zlatan, I think just stayed on the right side of the line with his criticism, but for me he was dangerously close to where we were a few months ago, with people coming on here and declaring players like Walcott, Song, Vermaelen and Koscielney as "Rubbish". I also think he stuck to players that were not senior members of the team. He criticized Vermaelen, but was much less insulting about him, and I think that was OK, even though I think his opinion is wrong.

I stopped posting on this board for a month, because I don't expect to come to an Arsenal fan forum and see people making posts disrespecting our senior players without any real justification. Those players are clearly not "Rubbish" as some people posted at the time and if you came to an Arsenal fan site as an opposing fan, and wrote that, you would be banned as a WUM.

I am not a fan of Scott Parker, and I say he is rubbish, but I am not pretending to be a Spurs fan and I am not allowed to go onto the Spurs page and write that.

In my opinion Zlatan stayed (just) on the correct side of the line with his criticisms, in that he very much stated that it was his opinion and although he did not say why, he did in the way that he wrote it, seeming to me to indicate that he was exagerating for effect. When pressed, he went ahead and said why. When a few of us said we were irritated with him, he toned down his comments a little, which I thought was courteous.

Then you weigh in with your crap.

I suggest that if you want to post on an Arsenal hate-in board rather than an Arsenal love-in board, you go to another site. What did you expect when coming to the Arsenal forum of not606, but to find people who love Arsenal? If you want to leave, and hate Arsenal somewhere else, I for one will not miss you.
