54% of the lap so, yeah that puts it 4th in the list of tracks for the max available usage of DRS. From what i've read recently.
I'm surprised they are the first to copy the DDRS. I'm pretty sure a Ferrari one is coming soon as well. Anyway, a good start for Ferrari:
very impressed to see lotus with a ddrs, not even mclaren or ferrari with their huge resources have developed one. lotus for pole maybe? On a seperate note it always makes me laugh when rain is forcast yet almost everybody sits in the garage instead of getting some dry running.
Do we know for certain that Lotus has DDRS or is this a suspicion? Agree with Matt about them sitting in the garage. You really think they'd know better.
Really would not read too much into the times this morning, Button set his time before the rain and RBR and Lotus treated it more like a test session. McNish made a good point about Red Bull developing their car better because they bring mini updates race by race whereas McLaren tend to rely on a 'big' update that they bring every 4-5 races
Considering where McLaren was at Silverstone I would also be pushing a lot harder than all the other teams with collecting data.
One of the best FP2 Sessions I have seen, everyone out on track, who has the balls to push the car to the limit, times are tumbling and I have no idea who is looking good at the moment. Everyone has switched to Inters, Lotus and Ferrari looking handy though to contradict my other point.
Well that was moronic by sky, first bit of decent action of times dropping by the minute and they cut to the ****ing adverts! Well done sky, well done!
Yeah, that's so annoying, ****ing dumbos. Why is it a Mclaren on either T-cam every time I switch to it, gosh they bum them hard.
Oh look at that, back from the adverts and it's raining again and also ending the action for today. ****ing tools!
Now why couldn't they have done that now rather than 5 minutes ago? Oh my ****ing god! Idiots ****ing idiots!
another practice washout like silverstone, looks like we wont get any idea of the pecking order unless its completely dry from here, hungary could also be the same sky really need to stop the adverts in the middle of a sesson
Classic Schumacher, bringing the crowd to himself and Mercedes without getting the top time in practice!
Hahahaha oooops, well good for the crowd, some close action from the veteran. Mistakes happen. Lol giving the Marshalls a hand as well. EDIT: Rear right on the white, was a mistake from Michael, looks like there was a minor problem with the car beforehand as well, not related.
