    Another playoff with a more difficult team - UEFA really ****ed the small nations over with those changes a few years back, which were supposed to benefit us.

    we beat them in extra time , the first year under o'neill , Sutton scored the winner . Helenski is one of the best places I've been watching Celtic .

    So we did!!

    Extra time was in Helsinki - pitch was an utter state (think it was the UEFA cup as well).

    I watched that game in a sports bar on Waterloo St (it's Drop now) - place went nuts when Sutton scored - few bears from my work were with us giving it big licks right up to that point.

    Surely that's a highly winnable draw? Yes they'll be decent, and I know we've had our shockers in europe, but c'mon - if we can't beat a finnish side ...

    It's an extra round called the "play-off" rather than the "qualifier".

    Probably an elaborate way to shoehorn more English/German/Tally teams in <grr>
