Ensil did a good job with the current banner. I'm sure he's still lucking around the site somewhere so maybe he can update it to incorporate the new kit and AVB etc.
Bale on the Left - Lennon on the right....simples! No seriously, I think King on the left lifting the 2008 Carling cup Cockeral on a ball in middle Bale signalling "he loves the club and would never ever leave" by making a heart shape with his hand....
How about we just keep it simple? Cockeral in the middle, "Tottenham" and "Hotspur" on either side and a plain background or a pic of WHL or something?
Nah, we changed that one. It's a good time to get the banner changed seeing as Mick is around, otherwise it takes bloody ages to get it changed, so if I was you lot I would get your new banner to him asap before he disappears.
Well i've started a design (not sure if anyone else is) but it will be dedicated to ledley king. with legends to the left with the mackay bremmar pic as the main photo to the left while paying tribute to billy nich, greaves and if anyone else has any requests, the cockeral in the middle. It will all blend in with style but if someone else does a design or you fussy lot tell me its crap then ill use it as my signature so its all good!!
Right, this is my first attempt (click image to see in full) Legends to the left of the banner, used old fashioned frames round the images, cockeral centre, with king as background then used four images to the right, vdv and bale, king lifting the cup and jurgen and gazza, two players no one can dislike! Also am not 100% sure if the dimesnions are correct as i went with 1800 pixels width but height may be out slightly.
Looks very good, love the framed pictures, move the King closer to the cockerel - all the text will disappear though as it gets blanked out by the menu bar. Other than that 9/10
Totally agree. Would like to suggest a picture of King not trying to pass last nights extra hot jalapeno burrito though. ...oh, and stick Bill's name under the quote so our forum visitors know what legend uttered it.
I like it a lot but it wont work. It needs to be 310px tall with another 65px white space on top. The top nav-bar hides that white space at the moment. See how the original looks: http://www.not606.com/styles/car/Tottenham Hotspur.jpg And we don't all use the same screen size. 1600px is common on a laptop. 800px on a phone or netbook. 1,920px for a HD screen, which is the exact size of the original on here at the moment. It needs to be 1,920px wide but expect the far sides of the banner to be chopped off most of the time for most of the people. I thought that would be the case! it doesn’t look right when I see how it would look. 1,920x310px and ill make some adjustments as i'm not happy with the images to the right as the shapes to me look dated but was trying not to make it look too modern. Anyhow, will give it another attempt and see if i get it nailed this time!

Have refined the images and sharpened them all up, i did try the magnifying effect on the bubbles/circles but i didn't quite pull it off so just sharpened them instead. I thought that was King being showing commitment but now you mention it he looks committed to getting rid of last nights extra hot jalapeno burrito! All opinions welcome and then the mods can decide if they happy..or not!
